Lockdown
Sooo, I was thinking. The mood seems to be swinging a bit towards an âexitâ strategy. But, tbh, for the people of around my age that I know, the lockdown isnât so bad.Â
We feel safe.
We are comfy in our electronically gilded cages.
Weâre talking to our families far more than before.
We enjoy being creative to overcome the problems.
Weâre saving money.
If, like me, youâre over 60 and male, itâs far better than the alternative.....
....and my 20 something year old kids have a rather different list. I get that. I do still have a memory.

Now, gaming.
I play a massive multiplayer called Guild Wars 2Â (GW2).
In the game many (real) people play together within the game to complete objectives, fight dragons and get the best looking armour and weapons (âłgearâ) possible. We can also fight each other.
GW2 is going strong many years after its initial release. Why? Because itâs super friendly and has new content being released all the time to challenge us.
It is very welcoming to newcomers so have a watch of this and maybe give it a go. You can play for free to get a feel of it.
