thankfully he had already taken the time to shower so he didn't need to worry about being much of a mess before heading over to meet ross. or, well, they had technically already met online. to see ross. wearing a athletic black tank-top, and a matching pair of incredibly short black running shorts, he stepped into a faded and beaten up pair of crocs before making sure to spritz himself with a bit of cologne-- the notes soft vanilla with hints of citrus. he then grabbed his camera just in case and his emptied bookbag and made his way out of his dorm. the walk to the cafeteria was short, mostly because he moved like a man determined and didn't stop to let anyone or anything distract him. it was a good thing too, he was going to need that focus to riffle through all the quick grab options to find vegan things he could bring for ross. without thinking that there might be rules about what he could grab he took a fistful of individual sleeves of oreos, a couple of packets of peanut butter pretzels, three white chocolate macadamia nut cliff bars, and two packets of sour patch kids even though he wasn't entirely sure about those. as he was leaving, he noticed some of the dinner food was still out and they had vegan chocolate chip cookies in the buffet as the dessert option so, of course, he carefully wrapped six of them up in some napkins and set them in the top of his bag, on-top of the rest, before finally leaving.
making his way to the dorms, he hesitated for a bit in the lobby of the switch dorms. if he was staying the night he needed to sign in but, well, that would have been a bit of a presumptuous thing for him to do; even if ross's comment about having something for him to stretch for thinking it might be worth it. ultimately, he decided to bypass signing in so that ross wouldn't have to feel any pressure. they were just hanging out. maybe. checking his phone again, he rechecked his messages to make sure he was at the right door before finally knocking. "hey, raspberry, you in there?"
