A cool and sour drink made with fresh blackberries, sugar, and apple cider vinegar that is great for hot summer days.
Instructions: In a jar, muddle blackberries and sugar together until well combined. Add apple cider vinegar to the jar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, shaking occasionally. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on solids to extract all liquid. To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour 2-3 tablespoons of shrub syrup, and top with sparkling water. Garnish with fresh blackberries if desired.
