fondness breaks lightly on his expression & he reaches his hand up to the side of her face where his fingers lightly brush her cheek.    HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY BELIEVE IN ANYTHING ELSE BUT HER ?    she is the white light of stars: from a distance it is a scattered beauty but yet each is a burning sun.     how beautiful.    how unyielding.    how unstoppable.   perhaps he cannot fathom this fully in words of his own, as poetry never formed well from him, but he still feels it.  still knows it in some part of him.                ❛    merci, madame.  hearing that from you is … all you could have given me and more.  it is all i could ask of you.    ❜                 to just be beside him in HEART would be enough.  she’s his reason for fighting now  ;  he clings to the knowledge that she has not given up on him.

—— It's strange how memories that truly aren't mine still haunts me so. Will I ever get accustomed to those ? “ Fear is not what shines in his eyes. Is it NOSTALGIA ? But here they are, contemplating what was and is, with no choice but to answer to this frightening yet THRILLING question : what to do ? And God knows, just thinking of it, his heart race. So many questions assault him and his moral flinch like a boat caught in a STORM ( She’s the thunder, the rain and the bitting wind ). Should he betray his ideals, his marriage and this tremendous respect he has for her ? Should he leap, a blindfold covering his eyes, to his greatest fall without any certainty of where this path will lead him ?
