I've noticed a shift in the community's opinion of Berdly post-chapter five, and I feel SO relieved (and vindicated too).

Of course, I'm still salty about all the flanderisation and downright character assassination the fandom has committed on his character — and the fact that, despite having all the info already to understand Berdly, Toby had to put it as plainly as possible on screen that the bluebird is NOT homophobic, NOT an incel, and in fact supportive of his friends, before the fandom got the hint — but at least now we can put all those ""headcanons"" and uncharitable ""interpretations"" behind us.

Still, I'm just happy to see the UTDR community not collectively bash my comfort character anymore. Also... KERDLY.
