Benton’s Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel is a gel moisturizer made with 80% aloe and propolis. Aloe and propolis are a powerful combination in this gel because the aloe soothes and moisturizes, and the propolis, while being both anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory, serves as a great benefit, especially to acne-prone skin. When using this clear gel, irritated skin will be soothed, acne scars will be faded, and skin tone will be brightened. It’s also been tested by a dermatologist and is oil and fragrance free. I’ve been using Benton’s Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel ever since I received it in the mail, and I’ve been very satisfied with its effect on my skin. While it’s not acne-prone, I do have a couple scars leftover from the occasional pimple here and there. I also have eczema so my skin can get dry and irritated. This gel has been very soothing and cooling to the touch, and I’ve also noticed that my scars have lessened as well. I also really appreciate that the instructions on the container specifically instructs you to “pat” when applying this to your skin. I like it because I’ll have the idea of “patting” in my mind when applying. This is important to me because rubbing activates the dryness in my skin and makes it more apparent.
