KHAOS âş benji imes, the nothingness from which existence sprang
So into shape whatever god it was reduced the primal matter and prescribed its several parts. Then first, to make the earth even on every side, he rounded it into a mighty disc, then bade the sea extend and rise under the rushing winds, and gird the shores of the encircled earth.

âLies are not whatâs harmful. Itâs the actions they cover, or the qualities they reveal. Lies are actions that illuminate relationships. Usually they bare unwanted truthsâlike a lack of trust, or private identities. Lies do not cause harmâpeople do.â [x]
Iâm not a murderer! Okay, technically, I am. Not even technically. Literally. But I refuse to be defined by the times I murdered people!
Benji Imes, probably
âBetter an âoopsâ than a âwhat ifâ.â
â member since: nov. 22, 2013 â longest character: lake valentine â
@lake-valentine; Holy crap, Mika. Did either of us really know what what we were getting ourselves into when we started out with Belvedere? When you joined with Lake, could you have possibly predicted that youâd be writing the same silly, manic little dude almost eight years later? You have had a totally uninterrupted adventure with us, and believe it or not, you are officially our longest standing member at the Colony. Youâve even been writing Lake longer than my longest character here, since Iâve now closed two of my original ones. But you never took so much as an âintermissionâ between now and the last decade, and though our relationship has evolved and shifted over the years, I am so unbelievably grateful to have had the opportunity to stay connected with you.
Youâve been gifting us with the likes of the effervescent and refreshing Lake Valentine since sometime in 2012 and without a doubt, you still bring the most utterly unique and whimsical personality to the dash. Your representation of Lake has never failed to bring a smile to peopleâs faces, and he adds an unbelievable sense of colour and eccentricity to the community that is irreplaceable. Of the many things that stand out about you Mika, there are two Iâd really like to highlight, and the first is how much development, growth and change youâve managed with Lake. Weâve literally had the pleasure of watching him grow up and mature over the past eight years, experiencing an innumerable amount of milestones and first-times, and your unfailing commitment to him even still is absolutely inspiring. Second, is how remarkably different your two characters are from each other. Itâs almost hard to believe Benji (also a character who you wrote back at Belvedere!) is written by the same person. They have extraordinarily different energies, and you never cease to amaze me with how clearly you portray them.Â
Though youâve always been a quiet one in the OOC community, you are without a doubt one of the most genuine and loving people Iâve ever met, and quiet or not, I donât think thereâs a single person here who doesnât know this about you. You radiate sunshine and warmth, and in my fifteen some-odd years of knowing you, Iâve yet to discover a mean bone in your body. Thank you for everything youâve brought to both Belvedere and Colony 22 over the years, Mika. I know neither experience would have been remotely the same without you. â¤
