While the Wallensteins have been rooted in Chestnut Ridge for several generations, Benjamin's connection to the town was somewhat limited, mainly due to his parents' divorce. His upbringing took a unique path. His mother, a globetrotter in pursuit of fame and glory, took him with her, away to far-flung destinations for various riding competitions; while his father, a steadfast presence in Chestnut Ridge, dedicated his days to breeding and training horses.
A few months ago, an unexpected twist of fate altered the course of Benjamin's life. His father passed away, leaving Benjamin as the sole inheritor of his legacy. With the weight of the family business resting on his shoulders, Benjamin returned home, greeted by the daunting prospect of stepping into his father's shoes. However, rather than succumb to the pressure, he chose to embrace change. He sold most of the stables' horses, only keeping his favourite one, Sugar Syrup.
Now, back in Chestnut Ridge, Benjamin is resolute in his pursuit of a new dream. Inspired by his mother's achievements as a Championship Rider, he has set his sights on becoming one himself. And he knows he can do it. He's good. And thanks to his inheritance, he has a good bit of time to figure things out anyway.
