Is Tumblr making a comeback? No, no it's not... Well it is in a limited sense, for the time being at least. All I sought was a repository for my content prior to going Insta official. (Especially crucial considering that Instagram is suboptimal for posting original content online due to the fact that posting directly from a PC, indeed anything other than a compatible smartphone, is not feasible, not to mention how images may be cropped or distorted to fit set pixel measurements.) Twitter may seem an obvious first choice, but it is an immediate no-go. My brief experiences with the censorship-happy administration making Twitter such a cesspool of Cultural Marxism suffice. But that was then. Isn't it better since based Elon took over? As a matter of fact it is even WORSE! The only thing Elon Musk managed was to convert Twitter (sorry, X...) from a Cultural Marxist cesspool into an alt-right cesspool. At least in the past, Twitter maintained a flimsy pretext of democracy and free speech. Now it is the mere plaything of a billionaire manchild. Free speech absolutist my ass! So on that note, Tumblr is not yet dead as MySpace. Tumblr remains the best Twitter alternative until a new microblogging platform attains the critical mass to render both of the aforementioned social media websites obsolete. Stay tuned!
