-A lot of fake clickbaits-Things he said taken out of context-Many people hate him because heโs white-Many people hate him because heโs not American-Many people believe heโs against autistic and that heโs a racist while itโs totally the opposite: he participates in events, movements, charity etc. against sexism, racism and other kinds of exclusion.-People judge him too much, basically, everyone who is white is responsible for racism and sexism, itโs up to us to change it all, but these haters just throw all the fault on Benedict, as if he were a monster (?)-Heโs in favor of immigrants and against Trump, what makes many many people create fake stuff against him to stain his image.-Heโs an OBVIOUS feminist who even argued against reporters LIVE because they were dicks to Keira who was next to him.Heโs in favor of autistic people and he donates MILLIONS every year to support autistic children who are abandoned or mistreated, also poor children and sick children who canโt afford treatment.-He doesnโt correspond to the typical American beauty patterns.-Heโs new to the MCU-In 2013, Benedict signed a contract to play a character in Star Trek 2 (Khan) without even knowing when, how and who was the character he was going to play. The producers cast Benedict (white) to play Khan, who in the original series of Star Trek, was played by Montalban (Texan, son of Europpeans) who had in the role, Indian characteristics (they even painted him light brown to make him look like Indian). What happened was that all the traditionalist fans of Star Trek started to hate Benedict for whitewashing, calling the attention of people who are against whitewashing, sooo they all started to target hate against Benedict while he didntโ even know who we was going to play when he signed. The real guilty guys are the producers, the sponsors and of course, a great part of society who normally doesnโt like or buy things that are non occidental, and of course, Hollywood, that has many sexist and racist values by itself since it was born.ย -In Doctor Strange, they cast Tilda as the Ancient One and people claimed it was whitewashing and that it had to be an Asian actor or actress. I totally think an Asian actress would have been PERFECT for the role, but the producers etc. defended themselves by saying casting an Asian would be stereotyping etc. anyway, there was this whole argument and the hates did what? They blamed Benedict. Doctor Strange is white in the comics and Benedict isnโt whitewashing the role. Even if Tilda had refused to play the Ancient One, they still would have cast another white person. The problem isnโt Benedict or Tilda, the problem are the guys to MAKE THE DECISION. This kind of shit isnโt up for the actors to decide, itโs up to Marvel, Hollywood, sponsors and what the public wants. In other words, hates make a lot of noise and blame Benedict for everything, even when he has nothing to do with it.-We have to remember that there are many people interested in staining Benedictโs image because of what he publicly defends, heโs a feminist, heโs against racism, heโs against any kind of phobia, heโs against Trump, he criticizes society, he criticizes capitalism (not the system per se, but how people go far with it and cause chaos just because of money, he isnโt socialist, he just criticizes, heโs not against it.), he criticizes a lot about society and always finds a way to bring the public to THINK, what is viewed as a menace by many. These people who want to stain Benedictโs image because theyโre against what he defends make fake posts and fake news, promote posts making fun about his name and appearance etc.
Itโs ironic how many haters say they hate Benedict because heโs racist etc. but the haters themselves are totally racist against Benedict when they make fun of his appearance and blame him for being white and for his personal achievements.ย Iโm against racism, but being racist against white people STILL is racism.Saying Doctor Strange should be played by a white guy and hating Benedict because of that is racism, because heโs not whitewashing the role, Strange is American in the comics.ย I understand the pain of the Asian fans for the Ancient One not being Asian and for Asian actors NEEDING MORE PARTICIPATION just like women, black people, latinos, etc. but hating and blaming Cumberbatch because of all the racism and whitewashing of the world is WRONG and INACCURATE.ย Benedict has a very important role when it comes to charity, movements, etc. and hating him because of fake shit doesnโt help.
