'This place again.'

Tom scowled as he pivoted. The ink tugged at his pants in response to his movement.

The ink faded into the immense darkness. Only the inaudible whisper of the ink could be heard. Tom tensed as he heard the soft slorping next to him. Two figures, one lanky glowing reddish gold dimly and the other a dark shorter shadow, rose up out of the ink.

Tom pointedly kept his eyes on the horizon.

The smaller one moved to his other side, looking as it tended to do. Then it spoke with a lilting voice that was vaguely familiar.

"Still looking?" The speaker inquired.

"Does it matter?" Tom retorted, breaking the dream cycle. Tom's brows rose up.

The short shadow laughed as always. Tom felt the tall figure move.

"Just open your eyes."

Tom's eyes snapped to Henry's voice.

Golden piercing eyes caught him as the ink swarmed up. Tom felt himself pulled under.

Here's a teaser for the other portions of BnH: Darker Place. It will be a illustrated story as I have more time to write than to compose full comics. BnH: Darker Places should begin posting Feb 2022.

Thus I ended up having ups and downs of malaise. But during a better part, I worked... some on the comic.

I got shading/hatching on Page five to do. I have page 6 inked. Page seven is a sketchy mess. Pages 8 - 11 are thumbnailed out and need some refining but I think I can only condense it by one page (Pages 8 & 9, I believe can benefit from combining.)

Then being out of it, I attempted to create a personal quote card for my personal book. Then I stopped.

.... Yeah, it's in order, and I might attempt later when I ain't fighting the malaise.

So. PROGRESS.

"Won the bet, Glasses."

"Yes, but now sure how. That was literally less than 1% chance of happening."

Weekly training doodle

Not the finished page but I deemed it more important to stick to schedule than have the finished piece. This will be replaced when I can catch up.

Joey is a right ***hole here, soul squeezing and all. He's one fine cartoon villain though. Poor Sammy Searcher.

Never fear. I am still working on BnH: Darker Places. I am just prone to fine-tuning things to ensure flow.

So here's me trying to compose a critical panel between 'Papa Drew' and Sammy.

Honestly, Joey might be just an opportunist of highest degree and an high level manipulator. His mental disconnect with empathy for other humans/toons is this version's biggest flaw at this point.

So not the comic. Just wasted majority of energy on schoolwork. So enjoy this quick sketch of that Edgar and a Woolly.

Only because my brain wondered.... How would a spider or semi-spider sit down?
