why do u like Gally so much? i mean, i love Will, but Gally is an actual asshole. no offense, i'm just really curious.
He's not an asshole. He's been in the glade for years and this random kid shows up and tries to change everything he's used to. He's been through the changing, he knows there's something off about Thomas. He's suspicious. So yeah, he's going to be rude to him. He's going to push him around and try and figure out what the hell he's doing. Thomas is a threat to his familiars, the only family and friends Gally knows. The only life he knows. He's been taken advantage of, had his free will stripped from him. He was FORCED into the maze to get stung by a griever. That was before Thomas even showed up in the glade.
No one has survived a night in the glade. Then magical Thomas shows up and survives. They've been mapping the maze for years looking for a way out, Then magical Thomas shows up and finds a way out. Gally's scared, Alby was scared. Why do you think he sacrificed himself? Same reason Gally did. THEN WICKED FORCED HIM TO STAB A CHILD. TO TAKE A LIFE. A HUMAN LIFE. ALL THAT KID'S FUTURE, GONE, BECAUSE OF GALLY. Then Thomas beat him to hell. Until he was no longer moving. Do you think he fought back? He probably welcomed the pain
Don't tell me Gally is an asshole, because he's not. He's a victim.
