If Ayin and Ben used to cuddle, then Hokma might be sad seeing Ayin curl in on himself.
Especially if Hokma gets in cuddling range and Ayin just stays curled up.

Even more so if Hokma's just internalised this idea that this is because of how things went in Lobotomy. That because he tried to hold Ayin too close, he's no longer allowed that much anymore.
While Ayin isn't even thinking of it, or anything; he's just become used to being alone for so long.

My fellow comrade in shipping Ayin and Benjanin AND enjoying Ayin AngstTM, know that you are not alone and know that I too am weeping alongside you for the drought of content we face.
One of the reasons I love my PM/XIV fic so much is that I can just... put all the Ayin/Benjamin in there that I want and no one can tell me what to do or how to do it. It's set post-everything and I can have all the angst and all the fluff.
Which is also what I look for in the post-Ruina ideas. But because Ayin is out there gallivanting with Sinners without a clue who they are, that's going to take a fair while.
Plus like. I'd love to see what others could do and it's... yeah...
