Of the two BaL bots, who is the most romantic? Like in the idealist expectations way not alloromantic way
Ooh, good question! Idk if I'm getting the question exactly right, so I'll talk about both and their relation to romantisizing things?
-Sun imagines these grand plans/scenes in his head, but he is chronically bad at communicating his expectations (the both of them are, really), and he's going to be a bit annoyed or hurt if things don't go exactly according to the idea he made up in his own head.
He's just as much of a control freak (affectionate) as his canon counterpart, after all.
He is very optimistic and creative, but he's ironically a little more guarded than Moon? He is a planner and a yapper djdjdj He's going to give 110%, but he's going pull back out the moment he feels his energy isn't being matched
-Moon has simple expectations, but in a way he lets himself be more vulnerable? He's taken on the role of the villain of his own volition, and is sort of the self-appointed protector for the two, putting himself out there to take the blame when the good graces Sun's managed to gather are in jeopardy.
He sort of volunteers as a scapegoat because it's easier to get the humans to trust Sun and treat at least ONE of them more nicely, this way, instead of sharing the positives and the negatives.
But! He's just as much of a romatic in his mind, making up scenarios and what-ifs.
He tells himself he doesn't believe it'll actually happen, but he'll support Sun
He's more timid than Sun, but no one's really shown an interest in getting to know his actual self, so if someone actually tries, he's going to try and make everything work out
-TLDR; Sun is a romantic out loud but is quick to drop it mentally (like distance himself from an ideal and switch to using a "mask") if he doesn't feel secure, and Moon is a hopeful romantic, mentally, but needs to feel secure before he actually acts on it.
Hopefully, that made sense! And also partially fuelled that attempt at writing a scene I showed you fjfjf we'll see if I'm brave enough to finish and post that!
Im gonna smooch BAL boys and you cant stop me
Hi Ghost!!!!!!
For you? Oh don't you worry! They'll pick you up so you can smooch them to your heart's content djdjd
Why are you so cool
Osudidjd waaa why are YOU so cool huh??
Okay so. Will Miller. He just seems like.. such a natural caretaker type?? And what I mean by that is: he 100% has a love language that all but hinges on acts of service.
Need housework or yard work done? He’s there. Sick and on bed rest? He’s there, making you dinner and cleaning up around the house for you. Even just in your day to day life, he takes pride in being able to take care of things for you. - Ghost
Ooh @scribbledghost I really like this
Running of of this, I think he knows very instinctively what caring looks like (remember that line from one of the poly fics where sometimes the reader isn't even sure it's conscious, how well he looks after her?)
I like this idea too because I think leaning into "words of affirmation" for him would be too easy. I think it makes more sense for him to be trying to care, not necessarily in the providing way that Frankie does, but in a deeply thoughtful way
I like the idea that its not just Big tasks or traditionally masculine things that he does for the reader, either. Like he care so much that it doesn't even occur to him that baking or dishes might not be his thing, because if that's what you need, that's his job.

Beloved Ghost
@ofdeductiions
War was over. It was definitely over but somehow the noises, the feeling of constant fear, the constant urge to fight for dear life was stuck within him. What could he do to get away from it? What could he possibly do to shake it off?
“Buy a house.” his mother told him. “Near the woods. Perhaps a shabby spot you can renovate. You’ve got something to do, something that keeps you busy. A quiet place.” Well, it all seemed so logical. And so he went to watch out for something. He spent a long time studying newspapers until he saw one that really peeked his interest. He called the responsible realtor and drove to the place. How ironic, it really was close to the woods.
The realtor showed him the place. It was a large and beautiful old house, most of the furniture barely used. The strangest thing about it was the west wing though. That part of the building was entirely burnt down, only the outer shell of the bulding, walls and roof still standing. The windows were shattered and just fixed quickly with foil and some tape. The wind was passing through little gaps and created an eerie sound, like a hum, in the wide hallways.
“It’s good.” John said to the realtor. The house belonged to the bank of England which meant that the former owner had died and the house didn’t fall into any relative’s hands. It was all very odd but the building was fascinating enough for him to decide and choose it. “I’ll take it.” The price for the building was ridiculously cheap. The realtor made some witty jokes about how the house was supposedly haunted but John didn’t believe any of his words.
He moved in as soon as he could, bought some wood and various tools to start rebuilding the west wing starting from the main hall which you would see as soon as you’d enter the bulding. Since he lived here now he didn’t even rush, building and crafting until late at night. Sometimes he stopped his doings and listened. It sounded like a child was somehow there, sometimes singing, sometimes crying. One day it was disturbingly loud, another day there was no noise at all. He always shrugged it off and kept working.
