The villains relating to Judy
From Judy's POV, Pawbert's speech after the betrayal must have been so hard to hear, especially when she heard it before from Bellwether. Everyone she has met and deeply related to, has betrayed her so far (besides Nick). And this time she even tried to reach out but failed.

After The Events Of Zootopia 2…
Pawbert: I never imagined I would get fan mail in prison! Listen to these. “We love you, Pawbert!” “Pawbert, you’re so cute and so misunderstood.” “Pawbert, you deserve a redemption arc.”
Bellwether, in the next cell over: (silence)
Pawbert: Well, you’re quiet tonight. Should I read more?
Bellwether: It’s not fair. You tried to kill Judy, too.
Pawbert: Yeah, but I have a sad backstory. My family never respected me.
Bellwether: My boss literally abused me for years!
Pawbert: I never had a chance to be different. It was all my family.
Bellwether: Ah yes, your family of predators, who are the most corrupt family in Zootopia and disenfranchised an entire minority group. Kind of validates the point I was trying to make in the first place, doesn’t it?
Pawbert: You know what, I don’t care what you think! I have a loving fanbase and you don’t.
Bellwether: It’s a double standard, that’s what it is. Because you’re male, and because you’re attractive, there will always be fans who are willing to overlook your murderous tendencies. It’s the “I can fix him” mentality. But nobody ever says “I can fix her.” If you’re female, you don’t get a free pass for having a dark side. It doesn’t make you edgy, it makes you an irredeemable monster. That’s why nobody wants to fix me.
Pawbert: (silence)
Bellwether: (silence)
Pawbert: …You think I’m attractive?
Bellwether: THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER!

Absolute Diva
Reposting my Zootopia art from my old Tumblr account + from deviant art.
Eeehhhhh
today i have learned something that has delighted and enlightened me that is very niche, but i WILL be sending this posts to my friends who it's relevant to.
as we can surmise, one of my favorite authors lately is Connie Willis, who returns frequently to themes and locations in her writing, one of which is spiritualism. namely, the debunking of spiritualism. it pops up in Inside Job, Crosstalk, Passage, Bellwether, and probably more that i'm forgetting to name.
so, when i'm searching for her website today because i've forgotten the url, i look her up. on the side of my screen pops her wikipedia profile, her picture smiling back at me. the top link, however, is not hers.
it is for another Connie Willis, this one a radio host. and also Bigfoot whisperer, master explorer of advanced entities, and "Jane Goodall, elevated to the beyond"
folks, you can't make this stuff up. i am having a BLAST. oh, the irony. it's like something from one of her stories
