These Sweet Maple Barbecue Chicken Kabobs are a perfect summer delight. The combination of maple syrup, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce creates a sweet and savory glaze that caramelizes beautifully on the grill. Paired with colorful bell peppers and onions, these kabobs are not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces. 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces. 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces. 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to create the marinade. Place the chicken cubes in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it's evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion alternately onto the soaked wooden skewers. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char from the grill. Baste with any remaining marinade during grilling. Once the chicken is cooked and the vegetables are tender, remove the kabobs from the grill. Serve the Sweet Maple Barbecue Chicken Kabobs hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
