hello, hope you're okay!! what are your thoughts on bellatrix × alice ? i find they have so much potential,, whether taking in account everything canon or not,,,,, au's options with (partially?) amnesiac alice and bella anD the biggest guilt complex third wheeling the whole time,,,,,?! yeah idk brain's getting a bit flooded by them lately

i mean right now me and @sugarsnappeases have a secret ship that’s absolutely way more problematic than bella/alice so im very glad you asked!!!!
ive been way more open to insane ships lately since i realised its genuinely just fiction and silly pairings and madeup dynamics and picking and choosing from the source material to create something new. im a big believer in that the source material is important to make the ship/au, but it’s the creating something new and outlandish and interesting that’s the fun part
like i used to be sooooo against shipping death eaters with muggle borns but now im just sort of not anymore ? to me its more important what you make of it and how you can sort of turn things around and create something new. not even necessarily something morally good. like its honestly just fandom and never that deep ! obviously things can still be problematic and uncomfortable to read and i try to be mindful of that in my characterizations, but other than that…. im just having fun and coming up with dynamics i think are interesting. even if i don’t even necessarily agree with them ?? like i still think its interesting delving into dynamics that i don’t even necessarily support ? hope that makes sense mwah
anyway! i haven’t actually thought about them before??? i have very hard time imagining them even in the same room for some reason? but honestly….. the amnesia!alice and bella stealing her away and keeping her safe last minute and then its just the two of them + the gigantic guilt ridden elephant in the room. bella avoiding answering any real questions about who alice is or who she is. maybe even fabricating a new story. not telling alice she has a child and husband ?? but bella also genuinely wanting to protect alice and she really did have a change of heart and shes running away from her past just as much as she’s stealing away alice from her old life and bella’s actions. she wants a new chance and she’s not really that good of a person but she’s trying for alice but she keeps making horrible decisions that’ll have consequenses in the end ??? i could be into that…
please tell me more if you want im very intrigued <3

Just Read: The Edge

The Edge is a Bella/Alice Twilight fic that, interestingly, is a divergence, rather than an AU. As a result, Bella has to deal with the fact that she had this thing for Edward as she's falling for Alice. And Alice has to deal with the fact that she's with Jasper. The drama is purely centered on the character's relationships and even that is relatively low key. (This is neither a plus or a minus to me.)
The writing is fine. It occasionally hit a bit of pet peave in that that the POV occasionally shifts mid-chapter drifting from Bella's mind to Alice's to others. I'm rather not fond if this style, but this fic manages to keep it under enough control that I can get through. 😉
Overall it was a nice enjoyable romantic happy ending. The highs weren't that high but then the lows weren't that low either. I liked it. Would read again. 😛

La verdad es que no lo sabía, siempre había pensando que los nervios que sentía al verla o estar cerca eran por que le daba miedo no porque le gustara pero ya no podía callarse más, mucho menos ahora que ella se iría del colegio así que se acercó con paso vacilante hasta quedar frente a ella y antes de que le recordara lo pequeña e insignificante que era abrió la boca primero cerrando los ojos para no tener que ver su rostro o perdería el poco valor que tenía para eso — Me gustas Bellatrix —dijo rápidamente antes de salir corriendo lo más fuerte que podía con el corazón queriéndose salir de su cuerpo pero al menos al fin lo haya sacado. Y se sentía bien no cargar con ese secreto.
