This year I resolved to ride purely for fun, companionship and coffee! Today fitted the bill perfectly: a 28km riverside coffee cruise with my friend Gretta. 😊🚴☕

Thank you to my friend Jillian who tootled along with me on my first rehab ride - only 16km at a very sedate speed but more than the 10 minutes my physio recommended lol 🤣. What can I say? So far so good. 😊 It was great to get out our Look bikes on a beautiful morning. ♀🚴♀🚴

There is nothing like getting out on the bike on a golden summer morning. My injury means I must keep it short, flat and easy. After so long off the bike it was my butt that was hurting after just 16km! 🤣🚴🌏

Riding with my Instagram friend Shae opens my eyes to the street art I normally fly past only half-noticing. 🎨🚲💨
