What happen if Jaune have this
“Once you take hold of me, what will you do?”
Jaune was unsure of who was speaking to him. That is, until the voice spoke to him again as he stared at the sword in his hands. When the question was repeated, much more aggressively, Jaune threw the weapon across the sands of the beach he awoke on. The sword, angered by Jaune’s reaction, began to shout at him further.
“Coward!” It bellowed. “Who are you to throw me, the great Dark Sword, Beliarok?!”
Jaune, unsure of what he was speaking to, carefully approached the blade. “I’m sorry, but I’ve never heard of a talking sword before.”
“I am not ‘a talking sword’,” replied the angry talking sword, “I am Beliarok, the great Dark Sword, and I can tolerate neither fools nor cowards!”
“Then you’re talking to the wrong guy,” Jaune lamented, “because I’m definitely both.”
Jaune was about to walk away when he saw something move in the treeline nearby. It could have been the wind, but there was no wind at the beach. Jaune put his hand to his hip, only to find his sword was missing, separated in his fall into this strange, new world.
“Hunt... Stalk... Pursue...” Jaune watched as a horrible creature, almost alike to the Grimm, approached from the jungle on all fours. Its head twitched, shifting and swaying this way and that, all while mumbling words. Unarmed and facing down a dangerous creature, Jaune picked up the Dark Sword on the beach.
“Once you take hold of me, what will you do?”
“I’m going to not die.” Jaune replied. Suddenly, the sword felt heavier, and he staggered.
“That’s a boring answer.” The sword explained. “I refuse to help such a boring, cowardly person.”
“Approach. Near. Proceed.”
“Okay, then, uh...” Jaune had to think quickly, clearly pressed to appease a talking sword while being harassed by an apex predator. “I going to be a hero!”
“That’s even more boring. No warrior worth my time wants to be a hero.”
“Pounce!” Jaune fought against the increasing weight and managed to swing Beliarok against the creature. “Roll!” It shouted before running into the jungle. “Retreat! Escape!”
“It’s not dead yet.” The sword said. “It will return, and I refuse to allow you to use me like that again.”
“Dammit...” Jaune gripped the sword tightly, thinking to his recent failure at the Crossroads. When he failed to protect the citizens of Mantle and Atlas. When he’d been forced to take the life of his friend, Penny. When he failed to stop HER. “Cinder...”
“Oh?” Beliarok suddenly became very interested. “I will ask you once more.”
The trees rustled as the creature emerged from the shadows once more. This time, it was not alone and was flanked by two others just like it. Each of them muttered something, either to themselves or each other.
“Prepare. Arrange. Devise.”
“ONCE YOU TAKE HOLD OF ME, WHAT WILL YOU DO?”
“I’M GOING TO KILL CINDER FALL.”
