Video taken on the morning of 11 Aug, one of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (police) offices. There aren’t enough cells, so people are laid outside on asphalt: https://twitter.com/SerjDogWin2017/status/1293074152342130688

ROUGH TRANSLATION OF RUSSIAN DESCIPTION:
“We have all got used to the elections in Belarus being a time of oppression, but this time mass prosecution of candidates, bloggers, civilian activits and regular people started way before the voting date. Hundreds of fines, tens of arrests. Behind the bar are such people as Sergey Tikhanovsky [opposition activist], Viktor and Eduard Babariko [former presidential candidate and sin son], Igor Losik [activist] and many other people who are now being pursued by authorities. They aren’t only the people who participated in the presidential race, but also those who collected signatures or just stood in a line to the shop, selling national symbols. Paying the fines, compensating the lawyers and overall helping them in prison can badly hurt many family budgets.
The BY_Help Team asks you to support everyone who is being oppressed through this fundraiser. All the collected money will be used on fines, paying the legal attorneys and supporting the families of the affected. All money will be spent in agreement with human rights organisations.”
STAND WITH THE PEOPLE OF BELARUS IN THESE DARK TIMES, THEY’RE TIRED OF THEIR DICTATORSHIP AND THEY NEED INTERNATIONAL HELP. THE NATIONS OF CIS ARE ALREADY ELEVATING THEIR VOICES, BUT THIS IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH.
