True Story!
I've noticed something lately. Everything I've ever said on twitter have been truthful. Which is odd because, frankly I may not be the most truthful person out there, I am two-faced after all, according to one of my sources.
Let's just be honest here, Everybody lies and lying always leads to complication. Lying has caused most conflicts among communities. It can start religion, distort reality, reconstruct beliefs, powerful stuff really. Regardless of your intention, whether to maintain the hegemony of power or to protect the ones you love, it doesn't matter. A lie is a lie. And it will always come back and haunt you.
Hey I should know. I have no problem lying. For all we know, this could be the lie right now. I've realized I can lie impressively good at a very young age, to a point where people do believe it may the truth. And it doesn't matter if it's not the truth, because once you plant that seed of uncertainty inside them, that's it. They start to have doubts, however minor, in themselves and their beliefs start to change. So either I'm actually a god, or just good at noticing these things.
But with something like this, you'd undoubtedly be able to see through lies, and ultimately want to seek the truth. So I guess that's why my twitter is always filled with truths, because hey, what little of reality is there left these days? Everyone is sugarcoating everything to prevent hurting each other's feelings, our main source of information have all been filtered and tailored to suit the need of the 'majority'. Am I starting a revolution? No. Please. Be realistic here.
I promise that everything I posted, and will post on twitter have been, and always will be the truth. And that is because I'm trying to be a truthful person, most of the time. So excuse me for being blunt in the past and the future, at least now you know how I really feel about you having that fat piece of cake. And yes, you do look fat in that dress by the way sweetheart

I'll Meta Your Face.
You know what I think is boring, is talking meta-ly about something. It's boring because most of the time it moves people farther and farther away from talking about anything that is real or matters, and closer and closer to being self-congratulatory swellheads. That self-congratulatoriness is the worst, because people think they are being so deep when they are meta! If you're in the middle of a fight with someone and then they ask you to define what you mean by "love," or if they suggest that you have a conversation about the conversation, that is not a sign of philosophical profundity, that is a sign of being cowardly and/or out of tactical maneuvers. Making a movie about making a movie about making a movie is played out to the hilt, and all the dullest poems talk about what it's like to write a poem (haaaard). If I ever write a blog post about writing a blog post, please pour a bucket of water on my head.
Tv Matters (part 1)
ย *Warning: Contain a heavy dose of references and possibly spoilers for those who have not been watching the shows, or up to the episodes I'm watching now, yes I'm talking to you, lady who complains about spoilers from my tweets*
For those who follow me on twitter, or seen my Facebook page lately, you'd have realized I'm relatively obsessed with certain tv shows. And recently, that special show would be Community.
I guess there's a reason why I feel connected towards the show. One of the main reason is a character named Abed. I am a lot like him. Both of us grew up by watching television (and understanding human dynamics that way), both of us have an rather annoying habit of referring our own lives to a tv show (Yeah that's how meta Community is and myself is, deal with it). The only difference between me and Abed is he's actually in a tv show. And wellโฆ I'm not, not yet.
Perhaps I could date all this to 2006 B.C., before Community. Back in 2006, I've recently discovered Youtube, and I found this very addictive webseries called "We Need Girlfriends" and I fell in love with it. I would admit, WNG deserves its own post because of its significance in my life, but we'll get there.
The premise of WNG is:
3 recently college graduates decided to move in together after getting dumped by their long term college girlfriend. And for the next year, they experienced the life of being single: going to a theme party (which they've mistaken as a sex party), meeting and fighting over a girl, dating a girl from their past, getting someone pregnant after a meaningless one-night-stand, getting back together with the ex, etc.
Anyway, I felt very connected with that show, to a point where I even started up a youtube account just to enter an online competition for the show, and out of the thousands of contestants, i came 2nd overall. Suck it! (The youtube account itself later became a site for my adolescent outburst through vlogging).
And when that show ended in 2007, I felt a void inside me for a while, it was tough, it felt like I watched these characters grew in the past few years and they moved on with their lives, and i was left with nothing....
To be continued... (with The Guild, and beyond)
