I purchased this domain almost a month ago. Way before I even started to truly try to get my shit together to start this blog. Life is now or never, right? What the hell was I waiting for??

So here I am. Playing this by ear and going with the flow. All I know is that I really want to do this and I plan on giving it my all.

Maybe it’ll work out. Maybe it won’t.

Why am I blogging? I have no idea. I use various social media platforms all day every day. I follow the lifes of people on the internet, some probably more than a lot of the people I know in real life. Mental eh? Yet we all do it.

So we follow the lifes of these strangers, usually because they’re involved in something that we have an interest in...music, movies, values etc, because it’s great to bond with someone that has as much interest as you do about any particular thing. Standard yeah?

So here’s the thing. I love vlogs/blogs about make up, hair, animals, music and film amongst many other things. I subscribe to various make up artists/hairdressers/animal owners and watch their vlogs and read their blogs as and when they post up.

I watch these people and the things they do and wish it was me. Why am I not doing that? I’m good at make up, why don’t I vlog? How do you become internet famous? I’m a trained hairdresser. Why am I not doing more to put myself out there?

Who knows man.

I’m 30. I am feeling a bit lost. I am working in retail, it is destroying my soul. I wish I was doing something I cared about. I don’t know what to do about it or how to even go about making a change. I want to do something for a living that I enjoy. But I also really want to start a family this year if it’s possible.

Basically I want it all. I don’t know where to start. So i’ve found my way to a blog. To help maybe un jumble the thoughts i’ve got going on in my head. Who knows, lets see how it goes.

Okay so this is my first blog, stay with me here people. Isn’t being a first timer a big thing or is that with…ah nevermind, let’s not take it there right off the bat. Anywho I’m not super creative and I’d probably be classified as a mediocre mom so don’t be expecting much out of me but there’s a good chance I’ll share stories/motherhood experiences. Some of which may be pretty funny. I’ll mostly be bitching about my life or sharing my exciting moments, writing gives me a zen feeling and hopefully putting my experiences out there others can relate or tell me that I’m completely crazy, either one. I’ll admit, I’m the first person to overreact but hey at least I can admit it! Brownie points?

Alright who’s up for a little backstory? I’m a mother of a beautiful 2 year old girl, shes a sweetheart but good lord is she head strong. Like some day she is going to do big things, I can totally see it and you wanna know what else I see? Me pulling my hair out dealing with her determination. That’s a nice way of saying she can be a little shit right? So aside from being a mom, I work for a company I can’t discuss and no I’m not doing anything illegal, but it’s a good job and a stepping stone for my career. If I was doing some shifty shit I wouldn’t be living in a 2 bedroom apartment, I would be doing it BIG. I was with the father of my child up until recently, we’re going through a bit of a separation/some serious shit right now so don’t be surprised if you hear a lot about him. He’s a good man but makes some pretty dumb decisions sometimes.
