This is my first fountain pen. Teenage me bought it from the local art supply store back in the 90s. It came with three italic nibs, some ink cartridges, and a little pamphlet about learning broad-edge calligraphy.
Twenty years later I learned its model name and history.
For as cheap as it was, it's a great writer. Smooth nib, steady flow, and excellent cap seal. What more do you want?
Sheaffer's current cheap calligraphy pen, the Viewpoint, it isn't as good. A better option nowadays is the Pilot Parallel Pen. Its parallel style nib looks a little funky, but works well.
