AI accidentally made me believe in the concept of a human soul by showing me what art looks like without it.
@theshitpostcalligrapher I hope you like this! My friends over discord loved it a lot ahdjdjdk
Small pitiful human Vincent, with his equally pitiful peepee, matepress-ing big powerful demon Al is absolutely amazing *chef's kiss* 10/10, would goon again. I hope to see more of their adventures in the future
I enjoyed your message so much I used it for calligraphy practice, I hope that's only kinda weird instead of super weird.

I miss you. Sometimes I hate you. But I don't love you anymore.
Top is about 3.5 years ago, bottom is from today
@rararatigan inspired me to go digging through some of my old calligraphy to really see how much progress i've made (you should go look at their work if you haven't already, they have a wonderful style!!)
this is the very first reference sheet i made with my parallel pens, back in april 2022, compared to the final design sheet earlier this year. there were so many things i learned in that time, most were things i wasn't aware even existed until i had to figure it out.
below is the literal first test page of me figuring out how i felt about the different nib sizes & an example of my handwriting after ~5 years of work on "personalizing" my handwriting for my own note taking (i originally planned on making a font, i never planned on learning calligraphy hahaha)
progress takes time/practice, and the more i do it the less i seem to notice how far i've come
