Even when you're dead, it's the only thing that keeps you alive." Review: The debut novel of Lauren Oliver; Before I Fall is a realistic fiction originally published in February 2010. The novel mainly showcased about an attacking and sentimental plot that questions our understanding in life, death and hope. One of the best soft-mystery books I have ever had and read. I really love the way on words of Lauren Oliver. This is a rivetting and an impactful story about a girl named Samantha who finds her way in life to have almost everything. She had everything a young adult wants to achieve. But the only complication? She's already on the last day of her life. It keeps on repeating like it was just a dream that seemed not to bother her, only realizing that she's reliving a day again and again, and there's nothing else you could do about it. Acceptance, hope and sacrifice. That's what I'd get after reading this book. I love how a single person-centric novel could really attract the readers' attention and impact them the morals in a mystifying way. Overall, this book is really a great read. The characters really behave very human(ly). The struggles that Sam had was also concretely real. The way that Sam's character developed and changed your perspective chapter by chapter is there. I was enticed by thd whole package.
