i'm so glad it's not just me that bought too many dolls during the pandemic. i'm not bankrupting myself or anything like that, but impulse control is definitely low... i'm running out of space :/

I have a very wellpaying job. But still, when I look back this year, how much I earned vs how much I spent is scary! I still have enough money for years, but my mind tells me "you spent a lot on toys. You should have saved that all!" On the other hand, I feel the world is so very uncertain right now, why shouldn't I have joy while I still can? What would I do with my money if the banks goes down or if I die in some new pandemic?

Ad3ll3’s d0lls needs to quit her whining about the unvaxxed. I don’t care about your plans or political views. I followed you for your dolls. And to all of you who will comment to unfollow if I don’t like her content-done and done.

I know I sound like an asshole, but I resent everything right now. I've had depression since a (too) long time and it just won't go away with medics or therapy. I dont want to wear a mask or social distance anymore, I dont want to use alcoholic gel anymore, I just want to be back a year ago when things were normal. No more friends to share with, no more family to meet up, no more work or school. Dolls and writing were my outlet but it's not enough to support me. I'm tired. How do you cope?

I ordered clothes from Karam3lbjd back in September last year, and they  were shipped last November (not that I got notified) and the tracking  hasn't updated since Dec, and that showed it was still in Russia, but  that's more than likely bc of You-Know-What. I've sent messages asking  for updates on the 20th of January and the 2nd of March, but they  haven't replied to either, even though I can see on Messenger they've  seen both messages. The last day to open a case with Paypal is the end  of this month, and I'm really uneasy about opening one as the clothes  have been shipped out, just that communication is awful. I know Russia  Post can be slow, even with the big thing complicating everything, but  almost 5 months? Would it be wise to open up a paypal dispute just in  case, or hope they get back to me with some news?

Response to corona op
That OP is right tho. We have to live with the virus. On my case, it’s not because I need something positive (but that’s valid), but more along the lines of me having to go to work, take care of my children who go to school (and totally sneeze and drool on you, I second this), go shopping for food.
Ask yourself : do we really need to stop living so that old people are safe to live an even longer life ? I’m aware this sound evil but my eldest relatives did nothing nice for me. Why would I be the better one ? Eldest ppl don’t care about us. They totally sacrificed generations X and Y, and are on the verge of doing the same to the youngest Z. They don’t care about ecology, global warming and better trade and production. They call us lazy and entitled when we ask for healthcare, minimum wages and free éducation. They mock our hobbies be it dolls or videogames or just scrapbooking. “What is this gonna bring you ? Can you earn money with this ?”
Before you say something, I’m french. I have healthcare and mostly free studies. When old ppl are asked to “Make an effort” to help the country, what is their answer ? “No way! Ask the lazy youth!” They would throw us under the bus to save themselves. And believe me, it’s not just one or two nasty old people. They’re nearly all like this, even my parents who are in their late 50’s : entitled and obtuses. Some comments say it’s selfish because I/we would risk other ppl lives, but they also risk mine, you know. When I take a risk going to a crowded place (shopping food or clothes) I’m careful when doing it, and after it. I try not to see “fragile” ppl for at least 6 days. But do my parents do this ? No. Because I’m young. I’m not at risk they say. But in fact, I do have médical condition. So, who’s the more selfish ? Please take care, but don’t forget to live. A sheltered life is no life.

I hate that I can't debut my new doll yet because his eyes and wig are still stuck in shipping. I get the Coronavirus is effecting shipping but for the eyes it's been since late March so can that completely be blamed on the virus? At what point does the shipping company take responsibility?
