What's the deal with Tanjirou and Nezuko in your Beemon AU? Out of curiosity lol (and possible delusions but we're ignoring that lol)

SO- This will have spoilers for fics but Who Cares /silly
Kamado family still dies like canon, very sad (who let Muzan wander while hungry, Who Was Supposed to Be Watching Him, Kokushibo & Yoriichi are Disappointed) BUT
Nezuko still gets turned into a beemon. Accidentally. Muzan doesn't know that there's a baby beemon out there because when they sent another beemon (because the hivemind means they can All feel Muzan getting Upset because Something is Missing) to investigate?
Smelled a slayer, and well. If there was a new grub? No way they'd survive against a slayer.
So for the most part? Tanjiro & Nezuko follows canon- except Nezuko wakes up early when they find out beemons can eat sugar/honey as well as human meat. Which means she can eat something & wake up a bit early. Yayy
But they mostly follow canon, until Asakusa. Muzan Notices the smell and pheromones of a grub. Which means Every Other Beemon connected to the hivemind does too.
They aren't able to catch up thanks to Tamayo & Yushiro interference, but he Swears. There was a baby there. Where is the baby.
The beemons are Agitated & swarm a bit more across Japan than they did before, but that's surely Fine. It's Fine.
It mostly follows canon again- well. Kyogai doesn't die, he's not there in the mansion which most likely makes that mission easier actually.
-but it mostly follows canon alll the way to the Rui fight.
Rui doesn't die. But he is able to confirm Hey There IS Another Grub Out there!! And the Slayers Have Her!!!!
The beemons Swarm even more. Don't worry about it.
Tanjiro is Fine, and being fine, and doing fine. His kid sister is Fine. Very cuddly, doesn't like the cold, bundles up in the blankets and whatever she can get ahold of. The box has so many blankets & extra haoris & everything else for while she naps.
The train is where things uh... well. The two of them don't get kidnapped- Akaza got distracted. (Still debating on if Enmu lives or dies, We'll See)
...Rengoku got kidnapped. Don't worry about it, Akaza & Koyuki are taking Good care of him. Honest.
Tanjiro & Nezuko & co are doing Less well from it but Don't Worry.
By the end they'll get yoinked as well, and it is to the Nursery to them, where it is Safe and Warm and Comfortable- and have the beemons mentioned it's Safe?
Alongside... just a... few others...

(Also I feel you'd like to know, Kokushibo & Yoriichi share Upper One, and their main jobs in the hive is to watch over the Nursery. Aka where the baby beemons are. Alongside guard Muzan- to Muzan's Frustration.)

(Well sir yes you're the Queen-Mother of this hivemind- which means they're Going to Protect you despite you Protesting because Hivemind, and you being the Queen-Mother)
Both of them end up as Moons- which in this AU is less of a rank and more akin to a supermajor ant vs a normal worker ant. Which means they get to be extra fluffy.
Nezuko adjusts far easier than Tanjiro, seeing as she's been a beemon for longer. And he very much is caught between the non-human instincts and his previous human feelings of absolutely Hating Kibutsuji.
Tanjiro is fussy. Bitey. Has to be held and going to hate it. It's fine.

Hi Puppet! I read your Beemon AU yesterday and it's been festering in my brain like a stubborn disease! To relieve myself if this affliction, I come bearing Question!
1. Is Muzan's goal in this AU still world domination or does he just want to live a now (relatively) peaceful life with his Hive?
2. What do Drones look like specifically? How do the Beemons treat them compared to other Beemons and regular humans? Are they slaves? Are they different enough that humans can spot them easily?
3. Regarding Muzan's status as Queen, barring his personal preference of being the only one in power over his species, can ther be only one Beemon Queen in existence or like regular bees, with the right conditions and human (*COUGH COUGH* TANJRIO *COUGH COUGH*), he can make another Queen, who would either take some of the weaker members of the hive or capture some humans to turn to make a completely new hive that is solely loyal to them?
4. Could the other Queen inject a full Beemon with their own blood and try to override Muzan's like and replace it with their own, making them effectively switch Hives? Or would Drones and, Pupa and Grubs be more susceptible to the change?
5. Can Moons Metamorphosize into Queens with enough Blood/if they,somehow, got separated from the hive, the link is barely there, had access to Food, a safe place to build a hive, and other humans to make more hive members???
6. Does this mean Lady Tamayo and Yushiro are in the Hive proper, or did she still escape and manage to turn Yushiro despite not being a Queen herself?
7. Can humans safely eat the Beemons' meat honey or it is solely for their own consumption?

Ohhhhh, I absolutely adore all of these questionss!!! Had to take a minute to run around in tiny circles happily haha-
(1) I mean, even canon Muzan didn’t really care about world domination lmao. So in the Beemon AU he doesn’t care for such things twice as much. He’s more concerned about his Hive yeah. He doesn’t particularly care about the slayer corps either, save for the part that they’re a threat to said Hive lol.
(2) Drones! So like I’ve mentioned before, they’re a step removed from the hivemind, having been created by workers or moons. They look like a mishmash between human and bee, starting out more human-appearing, and becoming more beemon-like over the course of a year.
Initially they can look like a canon demon, or more body-horror esque, it depends on the individual, who turned them, how much blood they were fed, etc. Coupled with the initial near-mindlessness, they’re usually pretty obvious, hence acting more akin to canon fodder compared to those attached to the hivemind properly.
I wouldn’t say they’re slaves? If they can survive a full year without getting caught- or show signs upon transformation of becoming a Moon- they’re usually brought to the Hive, and therefore Muzan, to be properly let into the hivemind. And allowed the information of things like the Infinity Castle, because that kind of information the Hive doesn’t want slayers to know, y’know?
(3) Technically, much like IRL bees, another Queen could be created! Though not unless Muzan himself died, in which case the next eldest or strongest Moon would Metamorphosize into a new queen, Or, another is created much like he was initially.
No one is going around using blue spider lilies in experimental cures to chronic illnesses in the Taisho however so…
…Now, Muzan probably could create another Queen if the space was too small, and food was in excess, but with how the Beehive is in the Infinity Castle… I don’t think they’re running out of space any time soon lmao.
(4) As for a second Queen taking over another… I don’t think so? Grubs or pupas maybe, but full grown Beemons, I don’t think they could. Beemons are very much of the hive insect thought process of protect the Queen and making Sure the Queen lives, even if they themselves die for it. (To Muzan’s chagrin)
There’s a good question with the Drones though, because they aren’t a part of the Hive technically, so hypothetically? If there was another Queen who took them into their hive before Muzan? Yeah that’s their hive member now.
(5) As I said in 3, if the Queen died, a Moon could metamorphosize into a new Queen, but there’s a hierarchy to it. The oldest or the strongest- or both, usually the longer you survive the stronger you are- becomes the next Queen, which is probably a good thing since the only difference really between Upper and Lower moons in this is that Upper moons are given Responsibilities.
So the strongest should already be prepared to run things in a Hive.
[Now, if one say, got thrown to another world or dimension or timeline or something, and there’s no other Beemons? Yeah they’re metamorphosizing into a Queen, no questions asked there.]
(6) Lady Tamayo did sever herself from the Hive yes! She’s from a time when Muzan was far more hands-off with the hivemind (It’s not like becoming a bee-thing came with a manual, this man tried to eat a flower when he first metamorphosized from more human-looking to full beemon, which… yeah lol)
-so Tamayo and several others did manage to escape the hivemind, though several returned of their own free will, and others died over time. By the Taisho era, yeah Tamayo and Yushiro are the only beemons not in the hivemind.
Though they are technically Muzan’s, in the fact they’re from his bloodline technically. Tamayo herself isn’t a Queen, but she did metamorphosize from a worker to a Moon- even if she chooses to take on a more human form usually; same with Yushiro who is yet another step removed from the hive.
(7) The meat honey is based on IRL meat honey, like the kind vulture bees make. Though instead of road kill it’s human meat- so technically? It is edible to humans, but I wouldn’t recommend eating it lol. Probably would not taste good to the human tongue, plus cannibalism for those that care about that.
