* arin is the only person who knows how to calm sora down from a panic attack

* when they have nightmares, they make hot chocolate and talk on the couch until they both fall asleep

* whenever arin’s sad sora will just drape over him like a cat

* if arin misses his parents, sora will let him talk about them for as long as he needs to (but she’d never admit that she sometimes misses her parents too, despite everything)

* sora taught arin a bunch of words in imperian so that they can have secret chats

* sora makes arin style and cut her hair (he’s practically a professional hairdresser at this point)

* before joining mech races, they used to pay merchants in IOU’s (the sellers always fell for arin’s baby face)

* arin is constantly teasing sora about her age (she’s only like three months younger)

* arin made sora watch the spiderverse movies and she developed and intense obsession with gwen stacey (she cant watch the second movie without crying)

* sora cried the first time arin called her his best friend (she’s never had a real friend before him 😭)

* arin will randomly slip ‘i love you’s and ‘you’re my best friend’s into conversation, because he knows sora needs reassurance but refuses to ask for it

* if sora has a bad day, arin will make her favourite pie and they’ll eat it curled up in front of the tv

* their favourite ghibli movies are my neighbour totoro (arin) and kiki’s delivery service (sora)

* arin is constantly reminding sora to eat, esp if she’s working on a big project

* on especially bad nights, they end up tangled together in sora’s bed

* sora CANNOT sleep without the sound of arin’s snoring

* sora sleep kicks and arin bullies her for it

* they have a shared playlist that’s like 100 hours long

* they know each others habits, mannerisms and way of speaking by heart (happens when you’re each others only friends for 5 years)

* sora has really bad sensory issues which is why she never gets her own ninja gi to match the others (she also doesn’t like uniform bc of imperium) and why she always has her headphones on (they’re noise cancelling)
