do you think the label of friendship as something that has to be two-sided? how would you feel about others considering you a friend, even though they know you don’t consider anybody your friend/you aren’t interested in having friends due to being aplatonic (from what I know, please correct me if I’m wrong)

i agree w how peeps see friendship all different. there's also the thang w society really pushing friendship super hard so for me it's difficult to really understand friendship

i've seen peeps consider others they've only had 1 decent convo w friends while others can take yrs to consider sumbody a friend for example :P

also i'm fine w whateva other peeps wanna see me as as long as they don't try to make me reciprocate when i can't :D i know sum peeps consider me their friend & that's fine w moi :P

oooh this question depends on system/plural, me personally my plural experience is unique so i'll just go into my experience though keep in mind i don't represent others, i am actually different from most systems & plurals i see!!! other systems & plurals feel free to clarify, while i am plural i am not a system ><

anyways being a system works different depending on the person but for us we're all different parts of a whole. like a broken plate kind of??? other systems have described themselves as being many people sharing a body, we're different because we are very not fleshed out & not full people in our eyes

we don't know if we're traumagenic or not, but we use the lavel endogenic which is any plurality which is not caused by trauma. it doesn't mean we don't have trauma, just that it wasn't why we exist. (yes plurality can be non-traumagenic, although trauma can also be the cause of people's plurality it really just depends)

switching is when a headmate takes control of the body. for us we don't have obvious switches like others, & oftentimes we don't know who's fronting (controling the body, experiencing our life) & we mostly tell from subtle things like what emotions we're feeling (all of us have distinct emotions we lean into. Brutus is angry a lot, Na feels like we're a child, Pate is A FREAK, Xoai has dulled emotions, & Tao Lao is egotistical)

us being plural doesn't affect our life too much, but it does make us do things like have difficult to control rage (thank you Brutus /sarc), make us very moody, make us forget things we've done or wanted to do, we change our choices often, & stuff we can't think of off the top of our head

also we differ from other plurals in that we no headspace or forms due to aphantasia. other plurals may have different appearances in their heads, or a location(s) in their head to interact with their headmates. we can't do that so it gets mixed up & confusing

How did you figure out you are aplatonic?

started reading how people see their friends & going "wait you people actually LOVE your friends oh I thought friends were just. people whom are fun to hang around & nice to talk to" i didn't realize people could get so close to each other as friends

& also that people can feel other types of attraction in general, i didn't know there was a difference between romantic & platonic (which caused me problems w old friends XD)

btw apparenty other people miss their friends when they leave, for me i just forget they existed until they pop up again

i'm also considering that i might be afamilial, bc i could neva (natw even as a child) answer the question "do you love your family member" w out feeling extremely uncomfy & also don't miss my family as much (doesn't mean i hate em or don't care about em, just that my feelings to them don't fit the normal standards of luv)
