Keith is very content to listen to his nerds talk about NERD THINGS™ all day. He may not understand it but he loves his nerds and their nerd passions and he will fight for his nerds to pursue those passions and take down all who stand in their way.

                    there  is  a  long,  deafening  pause.  the  tension  was  nearly  tangible,  as  though  it  were  chaining  the  wrists  of  anyone  near  to  the  ground,  inescapable.  ❛   --- if  you  need  anyone. ❜    finally,  a  crack  in  the  metal.  the  words  were  said  low,  hesitation  dripping  like  the  hot  magma  used  to  create  a  weapon.  their  relationship  had  been  rocky  for  a  while,  asra  was  well  aware  of  that.  he  had  been  the  one  to  blame  for  much  of  the  heat,  despite  what  he  may  preach.  the  next  words  were  soft  at  first,  nearly  crumbling,  but  a  hopeful  offer  nonetheless. ❛   i’ll...  stop  my  plans. ❜

i  think  maera ’ s  opinion  of  julian  is  v  different  before  her  death ,   &   then  after .  when  she  was  first  apprenticed  to  him ,  she  was  a  little  starstruck ? ? ?   she  thought  he  was  the  most  brilliant  man  she ’ d  ever  met   (   despite  the  leeches  )   ,   &  respected  him  greatly  for  that .  basically ,  big  science  boner .  she  also  felt  a  bit  of  a  duty  towards  him ---  watched  out  for  him  before  herself  because  she  just  KNEW  that  he  would  be  the  one  to  figure  out  the  plague .  never  did  bother  him  with  her  issues ,  almost  tip  toed  around  him  because  she  couldn ’ t  destroy  what  they  had  like  she  did  with  asra .

POST is  a  whole  of  a  different  story .  she ’ s  the  definition  of  the  exasperated  but  smitten  girlfriend .  please  stop  entering  through  the  window ,  ilya ,  there ’ s  a  perfectly  functional  door .  she  likes  him  because  he ’ s  particularly  a  polar  opposite  to  her . 

     "My family practiced in medicine so it’s not as if I’m entirely unfamiliar with it.” A motion of their hand as they pull away books from old worn shelves, checking the covers and pages with a well learned ease, “I just never took to it very easily. Too many technicalities. It’s a practice for someone with much better focus.”

A couple books were placed upon the glass of the front display case as another book was removed from the shelves. Pages are flipped, fingers drawing across old parchment before sliding it along with the pile.

        “...I    will    keep    quiet.”          Following    Ilya    around    oft    gave    way    to    some    UNSAVORY    adventures     --    as    far    as    HE    knew   of    her,    that    is.    Unfortunately,    she    was    just    into    dangerous    adventure    as     HE    was...    And    really,    Ilya    SHOULD    know    that    by    now.    Danger    only    gave    way    to    more    INTRIGUE.    The    difference?    His    was    out    of    some    sort    of    dramatic    HATRED    of    himself,    as    far    as    Pasha    knew.    Hers    was     simply    out    of    a    need    to    HAVE    FUN.             “You    won’t    even    know    I’m    here.”           If    that    wasn’t     enough    --   an    OVER-THE-TOP    wink    to    sell    her    point.
