The following foods, spices and herbs can be good for leg ulcer and bedsores:
– Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) honey
You can make breaded chicken strips with buckwheat honey and chili sauce.
– Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)
You can make polenta with zucchini spiced with garlic and thyme.
– Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) honey
You can make a cooked wheat salad with soy sauce and manuka honey. You will need the following ingredients:
– 500g/ 17,6 oz cooked wheat
– 2 tablespoons of manuka honey
– 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
– 5 celery stick, chopped
– 1 green pepper, chopped
– 1/2 kohlrabi, chopped
– 100g/ 3,5 oz champignon mushroom, cooked and chopped
– 2 pinches of pepper
– 2 pinches of salt
– 1 chili pepper, chopped (optional)
Mix the ingredients and enjoy the salad.
– Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea)
Echinacea tea: The tea is made from dried roots. Pour a cup (2,5 dl) of boiling water over a teaspoon of herb, and allow it to steep for 10 minutes. Strain the tea. You can use stevia to sweeten your tea. Drink this tea three times a day.
Echinacea ointment: Take 300g/ 10,5 oz Unguentum Hydrophilicum Nonionicum Aquosum (it is a type of stearate cream, you can buy at an apothecary), warm it and mix it with two handfuls of peeled and chopped echinacea root. Leave it at rest for 3 days in the fridge. Strain the cream and use it externally. Keep it in the fridge.
– Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) greens
Alfalfa tea: The tea is made from the flowering herb. Pour a cup (2,5 dl) of boiling water over a teaspoon of herb, and allow it to steep for 10 minutes. Strain the tea. You can use stevia to sweeten your tea. Drink this tea three times a day.
– Angelica (Angelica archangelica)
Angelica tincture: Take 20g/ 0,7 oz chopped angelica root and put it in 1 dl/ 0,4 cup alcohol (e.g.: whiskey, brandy). Leave it at rest for 10 days. Strain it and use the tincture externally.
