maybe my bed needs some alone time to relax without my weight on it , so i'll give it space and it will give me space too <3 real love and shit

(fun fact i don't like sharing my bed or let other people sleep on it, unless they are special to me….me and my bed are in a healthy committed relationship lol )

so yeah..i just realised i'm not single .. i never was

i'm sorry for the times i slept on another bed..

it meant nothing i swear no other bed holds me like you do.

no other mattress knows my shape, my weight, my pain

in fact i'm unable to sleep on other beds

even when i try, i can’t rest anywhere else.

G1- stasis pods for a truly scientific experience. Like, yes. These are robots who charge themselves like living batteries.

But then other series came along and did away with the high maintenance energy restoring capsules that would, given their energy crisis, be insanely impractical.

Skyfire/Jetfire survived a full eon of time encased in ice. His fuel was probably not frozen since energon seems to run hot and volatile but it was inert enough to keep him offline the full duration. So, what is sleep?

Beast Wars had pods on their ship for recharging and healing. But they also had bedrooms with interiors and a metal slab to sleep on. So, are they comfortable to sleep on? Their metal life forms. What does laying on hard surfaces do?

We only see medical and military grade living quarters. What does everyone- I mean EVERYONE really sleep on?

Starscream's bedroom has a wide, flat metal slab as his bed in IDW, and, well, his wings don't lie flat on his body. What was the thought behind it? Rung's office has a bed/bench in the corner Megatron lies down on. But he's also got his legs crossed and hands behind his head. So, they all must have ways of laying down that they find particularly comfortable. Do all bots regardless of anatomy just sleep on even metal surfaces? I cannot picture Bay Megatron even standing in a house. I mean, he made a throne. He sits down, so he must also logically lay down and rest too.

I love seeing characters in domestic situations but more importantly, I like to see them unguarded.

My favorite, genuinely, is a tie between Brains Bay and Lambotwins Ballpoint.

Look at his little bed with a pillow. A PILLOW WHO MADE THAT WHO MADE HIM THAT CUTE LITTLE BED??

Also Sunstreaker and Sideswipe have racer car beds which is all sorts of adorable. But they clearly have them plugged in. So, is it an electricity conduit? It's not hooked into them to provide energon, how does it work? Solar power? I want answers.
