halloween was over, and for ria that meant it was time for christmas. like she had a great love for halloween, she had a great love for christmas and she could not wait for the holiday to come. she’s started playing christmas music the moment it was november first, and like usually, her parents will probably be tired of christmas music before december even comes. usually her parents makes her wait to decorate their house until either late november or early december, but something is different this year. her brother is part of something in lime ent, and he’s moved into a dorm, leaving his apartment left empty, and ria has now taken over it.

it’s technically her place she tells herself, so it’s her rules. she’s holding claudine’s hands, dragging the other along. “i’m not allowed to decorate my parents house just yet, but, since i’m living in my brother’s apartment at the moment and he’s not home, i figured i could decorate his apartment”. “i’ve tutored and babysat extra much lately so i have the money for this… claudine? we’re going christmas shopping!”.

“i know it’s only november, but, i know this woman who owns a shop, she starts selling christmas stuff already by november, i’ve become friends with her due to how much i visit her during november and december”.

everything has gone from strictly to routine, to a vague form of chaotic, at least in yuji's terms. the everyday mundane life of a trainee suddenly thrown into a loop due to debut preparations; she and the rest of the other girls are going to be sent to a bootcamp for the next couple of weeks. it's only natural that yuji seeks out others to see before she's locked away with the rest of the project novus girls for the unforseeable future.

her gait is hurried as she crosses the street, tired from a long day of practice but eager to get to the restaurant to meet up with claudine. it's not often they get the time to do so; yuji can count on both hands how many times they've crossed paths since the new year. it's unfortunate-- yuji used to have so much more free time, both in practice and outside of it to meet up with others. now it feels like a fleeting dream with how the last few weeks have been.

lili considered herself to be a fair appreciator of the arts, though it wasn't something she indulged in too often outside of enjoying literature in her spare time. it fell into her lap easily regardless thanks to her mother; growing up listening to her viola playing, and even learning to play from her herself. when she was younger, she also accompanied her mother when she wanted to go to the theatre. she doesn’t remember much, but she remembers the way her heart felt warm at getting to spend time with her like this.

maybe it’s because of that long gone feeling that she takes a flyer from a k-arts student, advertising a performance the theatre department was holding soon. lili didn’t have much planned that day anyway, outside of continuing to study for her next exam. she could easily study earlier, and then head off to the campus later that day before the show began.

by the time the show was finished and the cast had their curtain call, lili found herself staying back along with a few other audience members to give her compliments. after speaking to some of the cast, she finally comes face to face with claudine. “hello– ah, you played the female lead, didn’t you?” she starts off, only to pause once she realizes who she was speaking to. “your performance was brilliant.”

"i miss cosplaying," sua brings up to claudine during a break in training, frowning down at her phone screen as she idly scrolls through the timeline. her scrolling had taken her past a dangan ronpa cosplay, and sua was suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to do one of her own, crazily enough. she'd chalk it up to the fact that she can't do that right now, probably not anytime soon, either. sua sighs, shoulders drooping a bit.
