You and Beck had been friends for a while, and almost the entire friendship you have had a crush on him. Somehow over the past two years, this friendship has turned into an unspoken relationship between the two of you.
“Hey Y/n!” Tori shouted from across the hallway, you turned from your locker to see her jogging towards you. “Hey, Tori!” “So how are you and Beck?” She asked exaggerating her words. "Tori! What are you talking about! We aren’t even in a relationship!” You said Tori’s mouth fell open as she almost yelled, “Y/n! He calls you Princess! You spend almost every waking moment with Beck! Yet somehow the two of you aren’t ‘in a relationship’ ” You shrugged, and said, “He only calls me princess because of the first play we did together.”
That’s what you always did, brush off the fact you’ve been in an unspoken relationship with Beck for the past two years. You playfully hit her chest as you walked down the hallway.

The two of you walked into Sikowitz‘s class to see Jade shamelessly flirting with Beck, again. You were about to leave before you noticed Beck mouthing something, ‘Save me please’ so you walked over and cleared your throat. Jade scoffed got up and walked away. She knew not to mess with you, may look innocent but you can totally kick someone’s ass if you needed to. That’s coming from Jade, so everyone else definitely steered clear of you.
You quickly took your seat as the class started. About three minutes into class, Beck leaned over and whispered into your ear, “Thank you for saving me, Princess.” You chuckled as Beck smirked. You whispered back, “It’s no problem. You definitely needed saving,” You laid your head onto Beck’s shoulder, and he put his arm around you. This was a normal thing for you two, him putting his arm around your shoulder or your waist and you lean your head on his shoulder.
At the end of the period, Beck turned to you, to see you half asleep still laying on his shoulder. He leaned over to whisper in your ear, “Princess, you need to wake up.” You picked your head up, and sleepily said “But I like sleeping on your shoulder.” and with that, your head fell down onto Beck’s shoulder.
“Y/n, you got to get up.” He paused to think of some devious plan before saying, “If you don’t get up, I’ll kiss you.” You just buried your head farther into Beck’s shoulder. His half-smile and half-smirk returned as he gently lifted your head out of his shoulder. Holding your head up by resting one of his hands on your face he then said,
“I’m going to kiss you then,” He teased you. By this point you weren't even asleep, just pretending. “Okay, I’m going to kiss you now,” You were fighting a smile at this point, he had always teased you like this, but you normally didn’t let it get this far. He slowly leaned forward, his eyes flickering from your eyes to your lips. By now, his forehead was leaning against yours, him still unconsciously leaning towards you.
After a few seconds his lips met yours, the kiss was nothing like you had imagined it to be, it was slow and sweet. You kissed back letting him know that you were no longer “asleep”. He pulled away still leaning his forehead against yours.
“You know, I knew that you weren’t asleep.” His half-smirk returned. “So you just wanted to kiss me?” You asked slyly. Instead of answering you Beck pulled you in for another kiss. “I’m taking that as a yes,” You said breathlessly as you pulled away. He was about to open his mouth to say something, but he was cut off by the bell ringing. “I have to go Beck, I’m hungry,” You said as you got up from your seat, jogging out of the room.

It was after school and you were on FaceTime with Tori. “So he kissed you? Like for real this time?” She asked as you explained what had happened during Sikowitz‘s class that day. “Yeah, he kissed me! Twice!!” You have been standing in front of your couch, but you had then just flopped down onto your couch.
“Y/n! See I told you, you're pretty much in a relationship with him!!” Tori exclaimed, “You keep saying that, but we aren’t in an official relationship still!” Tori was dumbfounded, “Y/n he kissed you. And he was probably going to ask you out before the bell rang today.”
“Wait you saw that?” You asked, Tori just nodded her head. “Shit. Tori! I should’ve just stayed back instead of going to eat lunch.” You said, “I probably ruined the only chance when he was going to make this weird relationship official!” You were freaking out at this point, “Y/n listen to me! If he really likes you he will take another chance to ask you out!” She consoled you.
Your computer chimed, you looked over to see that Beck wanted to join your and Tori’s call. “Beck wants to join the chat, is that okay?” You asked Tori nodded. You rolled off the couch onto the floor as you brought your hand over to the mouse pad of the computer and clicked the ‘accept’ button.
As Beck popped up on your computer screen, he noticed Tori, sitting in front of her screen, and you nowhere to be found just your empty couch. “Hey, Beck!” Tori exclaimed, “Hey Tori! Where’s Y/n?” He asked, you put your hand up and waved, still sitting on your floor. “Hey, Handsome I’m over here!” You heard Beck chuckle.
“There’s my Princess,” Beck smiled as you slowly got back onto your couch. You smiled and stuck your tongue out at him. As you appeared on the screen Beck took a look at you in an outfit made up of a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a SpongeBob blanket. “Spongebob blanket Y/n?” Tori asked you nodded, “It landed on the floor earlier but I was too lazy to pick it up.” Beck and Tori laughed at you.
The conversation continued until Tori had to get up to help Trina do something. Beck turned to look directly at you, only to see you staring at him. “So Y/n about the kiss in Sikowitz‘s class, you seemed to run away super quickly after the bell rang. Did I overstep my boundaries or make you uncomfortable?” He asked, you shook your head and said, “You didn’t make me uncomfortable at all, I shouldn’t have run off like that. I was just really really hungry.” You chuckled.
“So, in that case, Princess, will you go on a date with me? Like a real date on Friday after school? And maybe if you aren’t tired of me afterward will you be my girlfriend?” He asked nervously. You immediately responded, “Yes! Of course! Beck I will be your girlfriend right now if you want me to be.” You said
Beck looked shocked, but quickly recovered by saying “That sounds nice.” Tori suddenly ran back onto the screen shouting happily, “She said yes!! I told you so Beck! I told you that she would say yes!!” Tori happily jumped around the screen. “Tori! Did you get onto a call with me so Beck could ask me out?” You asked trying to hide your excitement. “Well, you’re obviously happy about this. So, your welcome!”
Tori said as she left the chat, you looked over to see Beck sitting on his couch looking at you with interest. He continues to stare at you for a minute before shaking his head, with a smitten look on his face. “Earth to Beck, what do you want to do for our date?” You waved your hand in front of the camera, Beck snapped out of his small trance.
“Sorry beautiful what did you say?” Beck flirtatiously asked you, you blushed and shook your head “I asked you what you wanted to do on Friday,” “Oh I have an idea, that I’m not going to tell you.”
