it got dark so quickly here, lux felt, it wasnāt like home, where daylight faded slowly and even when it did get dark, the streets were well lit to guide you back home. here, all they had were their phones and the moon to try and navigate themselves. maybe the stars, if sheād been a pirate back in the early 1900ā²s. ordinarily, she wouldnāt be worried, but theyāre far from home and she couldāve swornĀ she saw something ā but maybe itās someone who can guide them back. looking over at rhys, she reaches for her hand.Ā āhey, that might be someone from crenshaw,ā she says, nodding towards the shadow that seems to be retreating quickly.Ā āshould we catch up with them?ā
