This is so embarrassing but we've been rping them for almost 7 years and... they're still not together lmao. Most slowburn couple I've ever written. But we do have plans!!
As you already know they're roommates. There's been ups and downs in their relationship. Emily is the first to have realized her feelings, that she's actually in love with Beca (girlie has gone from commitment issues to this I am so proud of her), and Beca realizes sometime after that she's actually had deeper feelings for Emily for a while. She's just not been aware because it's felt so... casual. (Beca feels the Big Feels always all the time ever).
This is where we're at now. I need Beca to process her Rapunzel moment(tm) first.
No specifics yet for how things develop, aside from the confession scene. Emily will serenade Can't Help Falling in Love to Beca and when Beca finally catches on, she'll grab her ukelele and sing it right back. Emily's too big of a dummy to get it at first. But they'll get there!
Honestly the fact we've done countless and countless of AUs where they've already confessed, been in relationships etc... it's kind of unreal to remember they're not actually "canon" yet sgfjdk
