“so, when did you know that you wanted to be a singer?”
for the time that she’s known chaeyeon, chaerin was aware that she’s always been more passionate about music than she was. considering that the idea of becoming an idol was sort of thrown at chaerin, she was curious to know what her friend’s thoughts were.
during her somewhat short time as a trainee so far, she’s met several trainees who have shared their stories with her. a majority of them just happened to stumble upon the idea of becoming an idol and stuck with it. there were others who believe they were born to go down this path, and then there was the minority that believed this was the best way to earn some fast money. while she didn’t think there was a wrong answer, per se, she was shocked to hear the various stories from everyone.
“did you wake up one morning and decide this was the path for you? or was there like a specific incident that gave you a lightbulb moment?” turning her head to face her friend, she let out a hum of curiosity as she waited for her response. she liked to think it almost came naturally for chaeyeon, seeing that she was so musically gifted, but that was merely an assumption. chaerin would like to hear it from her friend herself.
