well, at least i know black americans showed out (as always) even tho that didn't really do shit lmao 😠. i mean hurray to us.
and to be frank if you voted blue, you deserve a pat on the back. like we all tried. we all did try, we advocated, we tried, etc. it is no one's fault.
america would just rather a rapist sit in office than a black woman, we were doomed from the start.
#looking at the makeup of who voted for who#and always black people are the majority voting blue#some of those groups tho#surprised me#and not in a good way#this is why they say poc solidarity is a myth#becaws#what the hell was that?#this is a very dire situation#and it's heartbreaking#but at least#looking from the perspective from a black person#i don't think it's the end#and i do think there is a light at the end of the tunnely#coming from a community that has heavily endured so many forms of violence - racism - mistreatment - etc.#and still being able to be here to type this#that gives me *some* hope#it's like -when i look at pictures of my great-great-grandparents#and see that they were literal slaves#but then to see ME here today with my mac lol#it gives me some hope#that things can change#and that there is room to over come and endure#maybe this was something not to be put in the tags
