Here's the thing I was making earlier. Plug those headphones in and put them on.
Step 1: Listen to the tone with the headphones on. To most, if not all, people, it should sound like each ear is getting the same, constant tone.
Step 2: Whenever you want, take the headphones off, press the earpieces together, and hold them up to one ear. Unplugging the headphones and using standard speakers works, too. It should sound like the volume is wavering.
It's a beat frequency! The left earpiece is playing a 440-Hz tone, but the right earpiece is playing a 442-Hz tone. Due to the different frequencies, the sound waves interfere with each other in different ways at different times if they overlap. Sometimes they partially cancel out, other times they add together. The beat frequency in this case is 2 Hz. It is found with |[frequency 1]-[frequency 2]|.

I still can't believe how Adam picked Sam over Benji. Dude, Benji's way better than Sam tho Sam just know how to make his voice sharp and very audible. But still, he's no match against Benji's rockstar screams. Pffft. And why I'm I venting out about this? I don't know. And I still can't get over Paulina and Beat Frequency getting picked out.
