One of our night baby neighbors rearranged my fountain bowls, and that’s fine I was just playing with placement and water flow, but they also took the nozzle. I’m hoping to find it in the grass around the pool. At least no one gnawed through the wiring. Someone eventually will but it would have been discouraging the very first night.
(little) Chuck was trying to porch pirate Fafner’s dog treats.
I found a marble. I screamed my head off (and then laughed and laughed) when a squirrel and I scared each other. I saw our hummingbird again. My best shot at nasturtium this season was sheared clean off. It could have been wind or Faf but suspect #1 is SQUIRREL.
I think it is time for bed. It is not yet 3pm.
This is probably the best footage I can get of our little ruby throated lady.

The squirrels have been all nestled in their nests so I’ve been having trouble getting pics of the Murbleage’s absolute units. This is not as big as the one that was screaming as me a few weeks ago but does look like they’ve had pec implants.
New neighbor sighting. Epargyreus clarus, silver spotted skipper.
