In his latest incarnation during the 20th century Cailean was born into the Shroud family in a small village called Riquewihr and lived there until he was 18.

Homeric Epithet

Fatal Flaw

You’re like a cop who says stuff like, "Listen, buddy, I don't make the rules—but I WILL enforce them." Look, you’ve got principles, and I get that. I can respect that. Greek Mythology

Murdered by accident, in Achilles’ armor: One day, during the Trojan War, Achilles decides to just up and quit. He’s the greatest warrior apparently ever, so this is something of an issue. You can’t bear to watch men die in battle for Achilles’ pride, so you don his armor yourself and lead his men into battle. Everyone thinks you are Achilles, and morale is high. You die, however, because somewhere in there you remember that you’re actually terrible at fighting. Silver lining: Achilles avenges your death something FIERCE. So that's something.

Literary Setting

Hogwarts: You got Hogwarts! We all wish we were Hogwarts students, but you seriously belong there. You’re a quirky, creative, and magical person, and you were born to wander Hogwarts’ expansive grounds, use its secret passageways to sneak into Honeydukes, and take whimsical Hippogriff rides into the sunset. Just imagine walking past the Room of Requirement with Sunday brunch on your mind (brunch food + Hogwarts magic=RIDICULOUS foodstagrams). You'll need to look out for trolls, giant spiders, basilisks, cursed necklaces, evil students, booger-flavored beans, etc, but in the words of the late, great Sirius Black, what's life without a little risk?

Cailean's werewolf curse originated during his first life, during one of his first missions (Likely one to prove his loyalty) in which he was sent to early medieval Scotland.

During part of said mission he had confronted several Druids (Druids being very important people back in time, likely the mission was an assassination one) after the event one of few the survivors had tracked him down and inflicted the curse on him.

Despite all the strength and skill he has, Cailean does have his weaknesses. Some he can’t really help since its more related to his body (The silver, wolf’s bane and chocolate he can’t help no matter what.)

He tries to push aside what weaknesses he can or avoid what he can’t. Beyond those he tries to improve in other ways.

Weaknesses are also useful, to use over his enemies or those who have crossed him.

Hades’ favorite animal companion and one that Cailean tends to avoid due to the beast’s unending hunger, even while being cared for by his keeper. The beast however, pays little mind to him for one reason or another (Likely his curse’s doing).

Cailean however has had to suffer through many jokes from other Specters, rather asking if he could communicate with the 3 headed canine or such.
