#bears headcanons

Was bored and wanted to share some of these small ideas I have fur Ed’s!

-He messes with his rings a lot when hes anxious and gives them to people he trusts to “hold onto his treasures” for him. He gets overly happy when he sees people wearing his rings. 

-I feel like his fursona would be an Opposum or Deer despite how much I see him as a bat. 

-I personally see him being bisexual. He had a boyfriend once and no one really bats an eye. 

-Speaking of bats we know that he’s Ozzy Osbourne fan, and when he learned about the fact that he bit the head off of a bat he wanted to see if he had the balls to do similar. The only thing he ever came close to was eating a live worm once to impress Ronnie in middle school. 

-He buys women’s hair products and actually has a rather consistent hair routine. He does have a bonnet, but whenever he remembers to put it on (which is hardly ever) it literally falls off within minutes of him, falling asleep.

-He’s lost so many guitar picks they’re practically sprinkled like fairy dust around Hawkins. In the grape bowl in the fridge when it’s full, between Wayne’s couch cushions, left on tables at school…etc

-He’s always got a hair tie around his wrist. Usually just another thing for him to fiddle with by also for whenever he needs it to put his hair up.

-He hides behind his hair when he’s flustered or embarrassed. Messes with it and twists it between his fingers. He bites his lip too if someone bombards him with compliments especially if it’s from someone he likes. 

-He has the softest Bambi eyes when he’s listening to his partner talk about something they care about. His eyes are just wide and locked on them. Admiring how happy it makes them to tell him about this. The way they fidget and how their pitch changes. He takes it all in and how wonderful they are. 

-Poor boy needs lots of reassurance, with his partner, that he’s a good nephew/son to Wayne, that he did a good job at band practice. That he’s not the rotting apple everyone thinks he is. 

-He really likes having his face traced especially if the other person has nails. He could fall asleep in their palms from it if they do it long enough. 

-Has a shark tattoo on his chest, snake on his upper right arm, heart on his hip, and bad wings on his back. 

-Loves to draw on himself and his friends in class. Doesn’t draw anything inappropriate except for the occasional two circle penis to get a few giggles. 

-Always has black nail polish on but they’re chipped. 

-Hates Turkeys and Pelicans.

-Golden Retriever stuck in the body of a Black Cat. 

-Has a HORRIBLE diet. Survives on canned food and bagged gas station candy. 

-Doesn’t sleep in one position very long. He is a very wild sleeper. He will go to bed sleeping on his back and wake up with half his body off the bed, lying on his belly, and foot wrapped around his sheets. The only exception to this is if he’s holding Onto his partner when he’s asleep. He squirms a bit but he’s basically a rock when he’s with them. 

HEHEH I finally got around to making just a random list of headcanons for him. With some Yumeship/ oc x canon bill sprinkled in. I hope yall like theseeee (also feel free to send in your own thoughts about him in my inbox) 📥

-His fav music genre is obviously Rock I mean look at him. But I feel like he keeps concert tickets and pins them to a bulletin board. And photos he takes at them. Just one board of them with him Charlie and others while at concerts.

-Is not afraid to wear makeup,jewelry, and nail polish he actually loves it. He wore it a lot in high school but toned it done after he graduated. Now he lets Charlie paint his nails black and sometimes eyeshadow. (Or covers his face in black lipstick marks)

-When he’s not a complete stink I feel like he wears a subtle cologne. Probably like some kind of bark/campfire smell to him. But one that’s not too overpowering 

-Matching promise rings with Charlie as well as sharing his spiked brackets with her. He wears one on his right and she wears one on her left. 

-Quest of yore/Dnd master I mean come on 

-Collects CDs up the wazoo and has many different cases in his van.

-Speaking of his van he has a lot of blankets and pillows in the back with lights where he sometimes sleeps with Charlie when they go on road trips. Defiantly also has some kind of back basket as well. (Some stickers are also slapped on the ceiling from places they’ve been to) 

-Loves it when Charlie talks to him when he drives, it keeps him out of being trapped to the road and he just loves to hear her talk. 

-Play Wrestling and fights are obviously something he does. That be with Ian, his mom, and Charlie. Always happy to have a lighthearted banter with someone and bit of rough housing. (He usually ends up being tossed on the floor) 

-Loves Physical touch so so much. He literally can’t keep his hands off Charlie when he’s around her. But not in a possessive way. He always has to hold her hand, be hugging her from behind, or even just holding pinkies when he’s within 6 feet of her. 

-Does get clingy rather fast, and actually has a lot of abandonment issues and struggles. Ontop of fear of rejection and isolation. He has all his life and has learned to be afraid of it. Charlie definitely had seen him open up about it to her before and it’s not necessarily pretty. 

-On the more lighthearted side he can fall asleep almost anywhere. On the floor, ontop of his van, Halfway off his bed, ontop of Charlie especially. He’s out like a light with her purrs and chuffs because it relaxes him. 

-Really likes having his arms and back traced very gently with Charlie’s claws. He just shivers a little if she gets too close to his sides or neck.

-His go to restaurant order is a Burger and Fries with Barbecue. He puts the barbecue on the burger and then dips his fries in whatever drink he gets. His mom and brother thinks it’s nasty but he don’t gaf.

-I feel like once he reaches the age of 26 he’s gonna start needing glasses of some kind. I feel like he’ll need nearsighted or at the very least reading ones.

-His room isn’t the gross kinda messy, more so clothing on the floor/his gaming chair and chip clips on the carpet. His mom yanks his ear whenever she finds any bowls in his room. 

-Speaking of ears I think he actually has a lot of piercings. Eyebrow, lip ones he wears on occasion, ears, and a healed septum. But he doesn’t wear it anymore. 

He’s debated getting a belly button piercing but doesn’t want it to get snagged/the thought of it ripping out haunts him.

-He has two DND characters/designs. They literally just him but in his Barbarian Uniform he wears to pick up isn’t. Or a dragon on said uniform besides the helmet. 

-No confirmed height but considering the size comparison between the manticore and him he’s prolly 6’2. He’s a big guy

-Pansexual 

-He adores the way Charlie smells. He can just hug onto her like a teddy bear for hours and just nuzzle his face into her mane. Charlie doesn’t mind in the slightest, she just loves the attention as much as he does 

-Loves to take Charlie to raves or some kind of places with dancing. 

-I hate the headcanon that he’s an addict I feel like he maybe did some stuff in highschool. But has been clean for years
