📌    she had been watching this girl for a while now. A few days maybe -- when she usually moved from place to place , poppy found herself in a situation where she wanted to learn more. Like what that big creature was that she was on sometimes or why she kept going into the woods on her own ( wasn’t it dangerous ) and best of all , she wanted to know what that weapon was that she was using. It almost looked like a bigger version of the thing that she brother made back when she was a kid. Or something that the kingdom guards would use back when she was at home. 

          When the arrow she was using hits it’s target , Poppy is unable to keep her excitement at a minimum and yells out some cheers when she sees it hit directly in the middle. 

                       “   t-that was amazing!!  “ she says , and although her voice was small , the quietness of the wilderness around made it louder than it usually was.

Her smile is sad, but she doesn’t say a word. Robin just stays in place, her hand holding on tight to Merida’s, thumb tracing and soothing the skin on her pale freckled knuckles. The wolf is content to stay here, relishing in the warmth of the connection.

“You know...” She finally spoke, voice so soft as to not break the moment. Her blue eyes sparkle, gleaming like the sky meeting summer ocean waves.

“They say... When we are created, we are two halves of a single soul. The gods separate us... But they’re kind enough to tie our halves together across fate and time. My people call it unmei no akai ito... The Red Thread of Fate.” Robin stopped speaking, but only for a moment. Just so she could get lost in the princess’ eyes.

"I'd say... she’s like a kindred spirit of sorts. We both like weapons, we both want adventure... we both know what it's like being put in that "lady" box that doesn't really fit."

Luisa’s easygoing smile turned to stone, then dropped away completely. The taller girl sensed the other’s discomfort. “You sure? I mean... The music’s great?”

Luisa didn’t want to leave. She was having a great time staying at the side mostly, chatting with locals, admiring the crafts, be it woodwork, weaved tapestries or paintings. She’d even danced with a few people!
