Bahahaha it’s like Modest forgot that Sophiam broke up or something (tho I suppose it’s possible that Sophia and Nicola are friends outside of Liam? But both of them being at a Little Mix concert is a little suspicious and suggests a PR motive.)

You talking about this I assume? Yeah I really wanna know how a random diner that was interviewed knew enough about Liam to know this:

I was speculating for ages before Sophiam was confirmed that Modest was gonna do a "hometown girl" narrative with Liam's next beard (based on stuff like this and also tweeting about Hattie and following Shannon) and lo and behold… that was true.

I guess I sort of addressed this in the last ask, but yeah I do think that it's weird that both times Liam has addressed Sophia on twitter he keeps talking about the hate she's getting, or fake accounts... rather than say anything nice about her, or talk about a cute thing she's done or they've done together or... anything.

If he truly likes this girl you'd think he would do that you know? Even for real relationships there's image to consider, and you gotta give people something to like about Sophia and Sophiam... but all he ever does is talk about the hate she gets? What? Like even if you think it's real you gotta wonder if he really likes her... no wonder Danielle was liking stuff on instagram about rebound relationships and "loving when you're lonely" sheesh.

As of today, they’ve been confirmed by the media (“according to a source close to liam”). We’ll probably see them get papped in HQ soon. I’m thinking she’ll show up at the upcoming movie premiere, because this was confirmed as quickly as it was. If not, I feel like they’ll be papped more officially soon somewhere, or maybe they’ll just show up at the Funky Buddha together and take pictures there.

"Liard" is the ship name people have coined for Sophia/Liam (Liam+Beard). I think people started using this before we were sure what her name was-or if the girl Liam was holding hands with was really Sophia. Idk if I like that, I think they need a proper ship name, but fandom will provide this organically eventually. I don’t really like any of the obvious options, their names don’t go together that well.

Not sure exactly what pic you’re talking about (this one?) but idk if I would read a whole lot into just a few candid pics like this. I honestly think that Andy and Sophia know each other well, because Sophia and Andy are facebook friends, and there are lots of pictures of Sophia at the Funky Buddha (like, go to the Funky Buddha facebook page and you’ll see her there a lot) so I think they’ve hung out in the same vicinity frequently. Like, regardless of whether you think Sophia is liam’s *actual* gf, they’ve been in the same circles and have known each other for quite a while.

Yeah, I would be very surprised if she didn’t show up to the movie premiere. I kinda think that’s why the confirmation of them dating was rushed to today, because the whole thing seems to have developed really fast (even if there’s enough of a history from what fans have found, to make it plausible that they’ve been seeing each other in secret for a while. I think, as far as it goes with Danielle, PR will be working on selling this new relationship for the most part, rather than focusing on a past one. Yeah, pretty interesting that they were seen holding hands at Rodeo Drive, which is a place celebs go when they want to be seen…aka that outing was probably planned with the intent that a fan would get a picture like that.

Yeah, I created my beard wars tag as soon as Payzer broke up because I was sure Liam would get a new beard before the end of this year (though I don’t think I thought it would be this soon). I feel now that either Elounor or Zerrie will have definitely broken up by the end of this year, and Liam/Sophia being established by then will mean that Modest’s requirement of at least two band members having girlfriends can be fulfilled. It certainly would have been more believable, according to the official timeline (i.e. assuming Payzer 2.0 was real) for Liam to get a girlfriend a few months later. But, this will probably help drum up PR for the movie, so that’s my guess as to why it was rushed.

He recently said how hard it is to trust people, so they can spin he’s always known her so she likes him for him but nothing indicates that’s true..

 Yeah, the media narrative for Liam+ girls doesn’t make a whole lot of sense with this timeline considering that Payzer supposedly broke up because of ‘twitter hate’ (lol) and because it’s hard to maintain a relationship when they’re on the road all the time. Plus I think Liam’s said some stuff in interviews lately about preferring being single or something so like…okay. Now he’s gonna be super happy being a relationship person because this has been confirmed. But I think his answers to those kind of questions end up being inconsistent in general.
