If Allah is testing or has tested your patience then you need to hear this.

“You fall in love, and you idealize, and you inevitably get disappointed. The solution is to fall in love with somebody perfect. Fall in love with Hussein (a.s.). You will not be disappointed. Fall in love with Ar-Ridha (a.s.). Fall in love with Imam Zaman (ajts). The only solution to giving up your addictions is falling in love. And once you do that, even your love for others will be for the sake of Allah. When you love others for the sake of Allah, you will be more tolerant, more compassionate, less judgmental. You will see their flaws and you will still love them. And you will learn that true love is not to love someone because they are perfect, but to love them despite their imperfections. Because that is how Allah loves you. Can you imagine if the Prophet (saws) or Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) would only love us if we were perfect? For they say they love their Shi’a, and they know we are imperfect…and despite that they love us. Because they have that width and breadth to take that much.”

“you took away my sun when you left, so i became my own moon”

“When things go wrong, you’ll find they usually go on getting worse for some time; but when things start going right they often go on getting better and better.”

““Know that those who are wary of their duty to God will find through Him a way out of the troubles of trials, and a light from darkness.””

“Do not lose hope in Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, for He is the Creator. He will Create another way for you. Do not flee from your trials; patience in adversity is the foundation of all virtue, of compassion and sainthood.”

“Imam al-Sadiq (ع) said, ‘Among what Allah, the Exalted, revealed to Prophet Moses (ع): ‘I have not created anything more beloved to Me as My believing servant, so when I try him, I do so for his own good, and I make him prosper for his own good, and I shield him for his own good. And I know best what improves My servant, so let him endure My trial and be thankful for My favors, and be content with My decree, and I will record him among the righteous.’”

“If you love deeply, you’re going to get hurt badly. But it’s still worth it.”

“Never get disheartened by a delayed answer to your supplication, for indeed that which is granted is commensurate with the intention, and sometimes the answer might be delayed so that it may result in a greater reward for the seeker and a more bountiful grant for the recipient.”

“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
