Let’s tackle off that jealousy claim right away. I love and adore J2, but I wouldn't trade my boyfriend for either of them. That’s just not how I feel. I’m a passionate fan of them both and I think they’re very attractive and interesting people, but I have no romantic interest in either of them. I have no interest in becoming a beard either - the whole idea makes me laugh.

So no, I’m not jealous of G. Do I hate her? No, it’s not even that. I’m definitely not an admirer of hers, I don’t like her much, but I can’t hate someone I don’t know and I wish no harm to come to her. There are even moments when I feel genuinely bad for her for some of the over-the-top hate mail she seems to get. So why do I actually dread J/G being together? Let’s see, I’m going to try explaining.

Point 1: Gradual degeneration

... turn into this?

My thoughts are that it was easy at first, slowly getting to know each other and trying to find common ground. When you’re not actually dating, but forging a business deal, you’re not around each other all the time to really come across each other’s good and bad sides, but talking about this and that while trying to get a feel of the other person. You both try to present your best side in hopes of making the arrangement work out well.

However, after seven years and three kids... you will know each other. Even if you've never been romantically involved. You have to throw the niceties away, since you have some actual issues you have to work on - especially regarding the kids and how to bring them up. You can no longer avoid the serious topics and the differences between your personalities and values have probably come up ages ago. 

It’s been nine years since you met, seven years since you married, and nobody could've predicted that you’d still be here and will continue to be for who knows how long? Tell me that this is not a recipe for a disaster, because I can’t possibly imagine a worse situation.

Point 2: Mental illness

It is widely known that Jared suffers from depression and anxiety, but did you know that G goes to therapy as well? She has admitted to it herself. There have been some drops regarding G’s mental health as well, but as always, do salt them heavily.

Can you imagine, if this drop is true, the situation they all must be in? All the fights about the kids, all the unrest between the people involved, not a lot people to confide in. No trust, no friendship, nothing of the sort with your co-parent. Just finding your way through your days, wondering where your life went and how you ended up here. 

Them being under the same roof concerns me. The situation looks volatile and when you've lived in it for so long, how can you have a rational discussion over how you want your life to be like and what you want from the future? How does one deal with an individual that’s as troubled as you are, if not from the basis of a friendship that appears to be missing? 

Point 3: Sabotage and rebellion

Do you remember when Odette was born and Jared and G landed back in Austin? G was clearly planning a big reveal with the P*p and S*ki campaign, but Jared had other plans in mind. For three days straight, he went out and got his picture taken with fans and even showed photographs of baby Odette to some of them. This does not sound like a coordinated pair that works together to upkeep an image, but one being more attached to the narrative than the other. 

Point 4: Avoidance

I could refer to the three-day absence that I mentioned in the previous point, but it’s not the only time Jared has wanted to physically avoid coming home to (what I assume are) Austin’s claustrophobic circumstances. And no wonder, how often do the J’s get to go there these days without having to grab a picture with their beards? Anyway, Jared stayed back in Australia after this year’s AHBL convention after the others had left (Jensen’s whereabouts were unknown at the time, and still are). 

I’m quite certain that Jared has even given up his social media accounts for others to use for promotions, perhaps because he’s unwilling to do it himself. 

It’s hard to say whether G practices this same type of avoidance as Jared does, since she’s showing less of her real life over at social media. It would be easy for me to believe that she does, though. 

Point 5: Manipulation

When Jared is away, working and having a good time with Jensen...

Or when he’s leaving...

G’s actions sometimes look as if she’s guilt-tripping Jared for being absent. I wouldn't call that very healthy at all. 

Point 6: Lack of public support

G doesn't mention Jared’s AKF campaign very often and she certainly doesn't seem to endorse and help promote it. While I have an inkling of an idea why that is, it looks strange. Meanwhile Jared doesn't mention his and G’s joint campaigns at conventions at all, but lets his social media helpers do all of the necessary promotion for him. 

Conclusion

There are so many things that suggest an unhealthy relationship between Jared and G, but if I was to write it all down, it would take me far too much time. I’m not blaming it all on G. I just can’t, objectively thinking, place all of this on her shoulders. I think this situation is the result of two incompatible people being thrown together in haste and locked in a situation that’s very difficult to get out of. While I’m always on Jared’s side, I do my best to keep my head cool and take into account G’s point of view as well.

Let these be my parting words. I flinch when I find out they’re together because it doesn't seem to be in the best interest of either. I flinch because I worry about Jared (and Jensen too) and wonder if he has enough strength to deal with all this. I flinch because I think there will be patching up to do once they part ways again.

Jared and G together is just bad mojo.
