As voted for on the comm discord, weāre back with a mini promptathon!
What is this? Itās like theĀ big summer promptathon, only a shorter version. It's a fun, no-pressure event where you can post zero to as many prompts as you like, zero to as many fills as you like, and join in the squee or just quietly enjoy the fun.Ā
Why ālove and joyā? Originally this annual mini event was Valentineās themed, but itās grown to include International Fanworks day, celebrating various new years, and getting back into the swing of things. We welcome themes in prompts and/or fills of romance, valentines, galentines, friendship, supporting each other, celebrations - but mostly, the point is that this is a little celebration of fandom love and joy.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Leave your prompt in a comment to this Dreamwidth post. Please post each prompt in its own separate comment. Prompts can be anything. You can re-use prompts from past events if you like, whether they were filled or not. You can leave as many prompts as you like. (Yes, seriously.)
You donāt need a Dreamwidth account - anonymous comments are enabled. If you comment anonymously please consider including your online handle(s) in your comment so we can credit you for prompts and gift fills to you.
2. You can post fills for prompts at any timeĀ from Friday 20 FebruaryĀ by replying in a comment to the prompt. The subject line of your comment should be:Ā FILL: title, rating.
At the start of your comment please include:
> Title
> Your online handle(s) (if you don't have a dreamwidth account)
> Rating (ie film ratings or AO3 style ratings)
> Any warnings OR you can say āchoose not to warnā (think about theĀ AO3 warningsĀ or take a look at ourĀ comm guidanceĀ if youāre stuck)
You can post your entire fanwork in the comment if itās short enough AND/OR you can post your fanwork anywhere else on the internet and post a link to it in your comment.Ā
Following these guidelines 1) makes it easier for people to find your fills during the event as a one-stop shop, and know what theyāre clicking on and 2) makes it a LOT easier for your mods to create a masterlist at the end, without missing any of your fills. Thank you!
Thereās no length requirement on fanworks submitted and you can create any type of fanwork. You can fill as many prompts as you want, and prompts can be filled multiple times by whoever wants to fill them. If you don't manage to finish your fill during the event, please do still share, it just won't be counted in the masterlist.Ā
3. Sharing the joy! If you post your fill on tumblr, tag #be_compromised or #clintasha, or @Ā the comm tumblrĀ and we'll reblog. If youāre posting on AO3, we have a āCommunity: be_compromisedā tag. And we'll post a masterlist of all fills on dreamwidth and tumblr after the event.Ā
RULES
1) OurĀ community rules applyĀ to this event and everyone taking part in it. You do not need to be a member of our community or have a dreamwidth account (or any other specific account) to be involved.
2)Ā As in the community rules, all fills must have a rating and a warning/'no warning applies'/'choose not to warn'.Ā Consider including a warning for spoilers of any media that's been released in the last 6 months or so; not everyone has Disney+ or can get to the cinema.
3) We ask for fills to contain at least a mention of Clint and/or Natasha in some way because we love them, but the whole, wide Marvel Universe is yours to play in. We welcome other characters and pairings (and threesomes or moresomes).

Well hello, letās do this. A recap post is for sure an interesting way to start this page.
Iām ScenicLola on AO3, write fic for MCU and Marvel comics. Pretty much exclusively Clintasha, though I plan to branch out soon.
This year I started writing again after a big break and for the first time I decided to be intentional about my writing. I wrote 7 fics ranking up 30,447 words all together. Most of it due to joining @be-compromised š a very motivating and positive community!
Now for the fics
First my two WIP:
I see palm trees and chipped tiles
An no-powers AU, where Nat is a digital nomad and Clint travels for work. Developing romance with the background of hiking, Spanish flair, small town dramas, and tourists versus natives conflicts. Mostly fluff with a social commentary on over tourism.
Different time and different place
A third part of my Endgame fix-it series. Clint and Natasha settle into a slow, familiar routine, finding comfort in small-town life. An unexpected mystery forces them to confront shadows they thought were buried.

My plans for next year is to finish my 2 WIPās. And start writing other fics i have out lines for.
Also want to get back into art, want to challenge myself to make a fan art for each fic i write, but this is ambitious so we will see š

"Remember you have to return the stones at the exact same moment we got 'em or you're gonna open up a bunch of nasty alternative realities." Professor Banner placed the case of stones on a small work station table.
He, Sam Wilson, and Bucky Barnes were deep in the forest of Tony and Pepper Starkās property to see Steve Rogers off.
"Don't worry Bruce, I'll clip all of the branches." Steve said.
"That's odd," Banner mumbled, "the coordinates for Vormir are already entered. That's supposed to be your last destination."
Steve and Bruce exchanged glances. It felt like a betrayal to say the planet's name.
"You know I tried, when I had the gauntlet, the stones, I really tried to bring her back." Bruce exhaled. "I miss her, man."
"Me, too." Steve nodded.
Bucky and Sam walked up as Banner made preparations. Steve opened the case.
"What? No, no...oh no."
"What's wrong, Cap?" Sam asked.
Bruce glanced over, jaw dropping. Sam and Bucky peered around the side.
"Umm. They're supposed to be six, right?" Sam asked with big eyes.
Bucky pointed at each stone.
"Power, reality, time, space, mind..."
"Soul stone." Steve finished, exchanging a knowing look with Bucky.

āStop trying to save me!ā she shouts, pain pulling her chest as he looks at her, hurt.
āNo.ā
His voice is quiet, determined.
Itās not the response that Natasha expects.
āYouāre not supposed to love me,ā she stares, hard eyes looking at him.
He holds her gaze, more intent now.
Lightning makes her face visible, he can see the tears.
āI will love you in any world, but youāre not allowed to leave this one,ā he stipulates.
Thunder claps and he knows sheās going to make a run for it.
But she should know.
Heās always going to come after her.
The turn of her body and pause at the door makes him try again.
āNo matter where you go, I will always be yours.ā
Clint canāt stop his voice breaking. He doesnāt know what to say to make her stay.
He wants to say the right words, do the right thing, help; but heās failing. Failing at making her stay with him.
āYou canāt save me,ā she mutters, swinging the door open and stalking into the storm.
He hears the rain now, but it might just be the roaring in his head.
He doesnāt accept her words.
Clint knows, sheās not a lost cause.
Heās chased her to Belfast, to Perth, to Auckland and back to the States. Heās found her in hotels, motels and holiday inns and even though itās only been two weeks, he still doesnāt know whatās happened to make her run, to trigger her flight.
He does know that sheās not as lost as what she thinks she is, because thereās always some clue about where sheās been.
Natasha is not the enigma she thinks she is, and heās not sure what that says about either of them. That he knows her so well, that he knows her next move, or that she inadvertently drops clues without realising it.
Or perhaps itās more a clue into her state of mind. That, even her subconscious is trying to help.
He walks out into the rain, the biting wind making it feel like sharp pins against his face.
āWhy?ā she shouts from the car.
āWhy do you keep trying?ā
Frustration bubbles.
āBecause I love you, you idiot. And I will not stop trying. So you can think that no one is going to save you, that no one will find you, but youāll always know itās wrong.ā
Heās getting soaked as he moves closer to the car.
Thereās tears on his face now.
Her pain, her anguish, hitting him as he watches her hesitate.
āWhy?ā she asks again, softer this time.
āCome inside,ā he asks, shouting against the wind.
āCome inside and I will tell you all the ways I love you. I will tell you everything,ā he pauses.
āJust donāt run again?ā
Thereās hesitation.
He doesnāt doubt heās getting through to her, because he hasnāt seen her gun yet, not like in Belfast. And she hasnāt hit him yet, like in Perth. Progress.
āCome inside,ā he pleads.
The car turns off, but still neither move.
Clint can feel his shoes squashing into the ground as it turns to mud.
āPlease?ā
She must see the anguish on his face.
Thereās movement. He backs up as she moves forward.
The walk is slow, like sheās trying to use it as a cleansing; rain soaking them both.
He walks in parallel. She has to enter the door first, she needs to choose this, otherwise sheās going to run again.

Been wanting to jump into the fandom but not sure where to start? Nowās the time. Newbie or a lurker? Hereās the perfect opportunity to say hello! Not been active in the fandom for a while? Welcome back. Promptathon is a fun, no-pressure environment where you can post zero to as many prompts as you like, zero to as many fills as you like, and join in the squee or just quietly enjoy the fun.
Weāre a Clintasha (Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff) community that welcomes ALL THINGS MARVEL. Weād like Clint and/or Natasha to show up in prompt fills somewhere, but what that means is up to you - individually or as friends, lovers, spouses, partners, gen fic, ANYTHING. Yes, that means we also welcome other characters and pairings (and threesomes or moresomes.)

Promptathon takes place on Dreamwidth, but you do not need an account to prompt, fill, or join in. Anonymous comments are enabled; if you comment anonymously please consider including your online handle(s) in your comment so we know who you are and can credit you!
Leaving Prompts
Please post each of your prompts in a separate comment to the Dreamwidth post.
You can leave as many prompts as you want. Weāre serious. Keep coming back. We want as many prompts as we can possibly get.
Prompts can be anything ā simple or elaborate, words or pictures, songs or poems, lyrics or phrases, anything that could inspire a fanwork. Use your imagination. Go wild! You can also re-use prompts from previous events, whether they were filled or not.
Please put a spoiler warning at the start of your prompt if it contains spoilers/speculation relating to any films/tv shows released in the last six months.
Submitting Fills

You also can vids, art, fanmixes, anything at all; promptathon is all about sharing ideas and getting creative! Fills do not have to be complete or completed during the promptathon. You can fill as many prompts as you want, and prompts can be filled multiple times by whoever wants to fill them. You can fill more than one prompt in one fill, or make a series out of fills for various prompts. Zero pressure; all fun.
Questions and Squee
The first comment thread on the Dreamwidth post is for questions and any general chat. We will also post some useful Q&A from previous promptathons there so that you have everything helpful in one place.
We welcome reactions, discussion, and cheerleading in comment replies to individual prompts, and we love comments, kudos, and reactions to fills. (This is where posting each prompt separately and labelling the subject line of fills helps to keep things organised.) We also have aĀ be_compromised discord serverĀ if you prefer to chat in a chatroom-style space. However,Ā all prompts and fills will be in the Dreamwidth post as a one-stop shop. Commenting, cheerleading, and enthusiasm is a huge part of fandom and you are very welcome to join in! Yes, even if you donāt post any prompts or fills.
