Dash thought it was time to try and test the waters out when it came to whatever the hell he and Lena were. He didn’t exactly hold the greatest track records whenever girlfriends were concerned and he wasn’t even sure if a date or something like that was the right move here. 

If anything, maybe he should just keep everything as it was so as not to jinx shit. Obviously, he liked Lena. She was fun to be around with, attractive, light, someone he could easily banter with back and forth and just be himself with so he shouldn’t jinx things, right?

Then again, that didn’t feel so right for him either and so, he had texted Lena to see if she wasn’t doing much of anything today. 

It was how he ended up in front of her door, knocking and waiting to see if she would answer. He had the day off today and wanted to see if she would be down to see a movie with him, but he didn’t want to ask over the phone. Dash always preferred the in-person route as he grinned seeing that it was indeed Lena who had opened.

Webby was at the park.

For no specific reason whatsoever but to just enjoy some brisk England winter weather and of course her view!!! Because Webby wasn’t just in the park during very early hours sitting on the normal ole bench. Nope. 

Webby was perched up on a tree, sitting on a tree branch that could maintain her weight.

She could see the entire town from where she was seated and how beautiful it looked doused in sprinkles of flurry white and fluffy snow. IT WAS SO COOL!! And the blonde would have been merrily happy spending the rest of morning just as she was, idly watching the town wake up from it’s sleepy slumber of the night before, but she heard the appearance of another soul in the park. 

Looking down, she spotted a blonde, one she hadn’t met before not too far off from her tree! Webby got EXCITED!!! Maybe this girl would become her friend TOO!!!! Mirium was her friend and so was Isa, Huey, Dewey, and Louie!!! Now this girl will be too!!!!

Webby got herself off her pretty high branch by hopping right off doing a summersault in midair and landing perfectly on her two feet right in front of the girl as she waved at her excitedly.

Dash had a bunch of newspapers and whatnot in his hands that had been lodged in his backpack practically jammed in there. (Anyone would be able to tell as the papers were very crinkly) They were mainly all listings for apartments (or was it flats? You’d think after how long the boy has lived in Swynlake he would know the British slur by now).

This was a very impulsive, and rash decision the blonde was going to make. Yes, it most definitely wasn’t planned or well thought out at all.

But, with a lot of things that were going on, it hardly felt enough at the moment for Dash to just be going to college and completing his fire-fighting duties (he was off today though). He couldn’t just sit around and so why not answer to the call of independence? Get the fuck out of the family house, yeah? 

And so that was the plan! And he was waiting outside of Swynlake Secondary with these papers in his hand, not to the bother the shit out of Jack-Jack, but for Lena. He had texted her earlier on asking if she was free for the day. When she had confirmed that she was, he grabbed the opportunity to have her go apartment hunting with him. 

The school bell had rung and once Dash saw the familiar head of blonde he had instantly sped seamlessly through the crowd stopping directly at Lena’s side. The immediate stop had caused a spot of wind to whisk right through his friend’s hair causing him to grin like the cheeky shit he was.
