Changes Ain’t Changin’ Me || Timon&You (Open)
Plenty of things had changed since Timon had been gone, but their enjoyment of a late night at Pixie’s was not one of them.
Sure, it was different being in the middle of the crowd, but it’s not like Tink and Timon hadn’t wandered their way out there plenty of times before when one or both of them had a night off. It was a good time in a place that felt like home, and they both drank for free so that was a bonus.
Even without the free drinks now, Timon found herself back at the bar, watching the crowd with a smile. To break herself out of the nostalgia, she turned to the person sitting next to her with a grin. “Can I buy you a drink?”
Midnight Stroll - Open
Sleep was daunting, some nights just not attainable. Mary rolled over grabbing a knife and a light jacket. She wasn’t sleeping tonight, so she might as well find something to do.
It was mostly quiet at night, demons didn’t always come out, but sometimes she got lucky. They knew how to get out of the underworld and yet she still couldn’t find a bloody way to get there. At least they could be fun to fight.
When she heard a noise she flinched, pointing her knife towards the darkness instinctually without thinking.
“Shit, you startled me!”
Prone to Fall Through || Haunted Angel
Angel had been in town for a month, and a month was a long time to go without any kind of job. They’d spent as little money as possible since they came here, but there were still essentials that required them to go shopping from time to time, and now resources were running thin. The problem was finding a job that would hire a new kid without paperwork who preferred anything but customer service, thanks. Dealing with people who could send them into a migraine episode every day all the time was a terrible plan.
So, with that assumption, they had taken up minor shoplifting and still relying heavily on what people threw away. Angel knew that it was going to end with them in trouble, and getting arrested meant they would get caught and sent away and none of this sounded good at all. But jobs didn’t come easy, and so they were just going to have to risk it again.
Going through their usual stops again for people who tended to be more wasteful with what they tossed, they could feel someone at the end of the alley watching them. Ready to flip off some asshole, they sighed. “You gonna keep staring?”

Into the Woods || Tod& (Open)
Tod took time about once a month to go into the woods and shift. While probably at least slightly dangerous, it was good exercise, and he genuinely loved being out there. For a while, nothing really mattered except being able to run and whether or not he could catch a meal.
Today was one such day. He didn’t go too deep into the forest before he shifted, confident in his ability to stay mostly unseen as he traveled along a familiar path. Every so often, he’d stumble into others, whether they were hikers or shifters or fairies, the forest was filled with life, which was one of the many things he loved about it.

It Will Come Back || Shrimp Cocktail
Gil had been out of town for about two weeks, and it had been a much needed vacation, if he was being honest. Seeing his parents had been good. They spend most of his visit gushing over how much better he looked and asking a million questions about his time in England. One thing kept coming up though: when was he going to come home? He had a hard time answering this, as it then brought into question what exactly home was. He loved his parents, loved where he grew up, but it was strange now. He needed to relearn it. The apartment in Swynlake didn’t feel like that. Jacques didn’t feel like that, despite everything that had changed between them recently.
At this point, he’d been forced to be honest, which maybe wasn’t the worst thing in the world since he got it off his chest, but it definitely didn’t get him anywhere. It wasn’t Jacques’ fault either, since Gil had very much shoved him towards Raj. He’d set them up himself. And they were happy together, which is what mattered. The main thing that it changed was that he no longer had anything to lose. Jacques still wanted him around after that, what could possibly be worse or more awkward? It probably said something about Gil’s psyche that a love confession was worse than the discussion of years of torture, but that is an analysis for another time. For now, he wanted to talk to Jacques. Catch up, and, more importantly, give being honest a shot.
Dragging his suitcase behind him as he headed in the door, he headed straight back to his room (if you could call a sectioned off area a room. He really needed to find them a better living space if they were going to keep doing this), dropping his stuff off and beginning to unpack. Jacques would notice soon enough, and they could give the talking thing a try then.
