🌿 Tshira Ruins — Swamp, Curse, and Ancient Horror

The Tshira Ruins lie deep within the swamps of Drieghan, south of the mountains, shrouded in legends of an ancient evil. According to local belief, this place was once a thriving forest city — until it fell victim to a magical experiment that spiraled out of control.

📜 The Legend of Tshira

Long ago, a priestess named Tshira — sometimes called Tshira the Great — sought to master the powers of nature and the spirits of the swamp.

She struck a pact with the ancient swamp spirits to protect her people… but instead, she unleashed a monstrous darkness upon the world.

The swamp consumed the city, twisting its people and beasts into grotesque abominations. It is said that Tshira’s spirit still wanders the ruins, whispering curses through the mist.

🔮 Connection to the Greater Story

Drieghan’s shamans believe that Tshira’s swamp is a wounded land, where both magic and life itself were corrupted.

Meanwhile, scholars and alchemists from Mediah and Kamasylvia scour the area for rare ingredients, turning the swamp into a constant battlefield of greed, superstition, and survival.

🌿 The Divided Children of Sylvia — Ganelle and Luthraghon

“The meeting of Sylvia’s daughters and sons would bring ruin to the balance.”

In the lore of Black Desert, the children of the goddess Sylvia — Ganelle, Vedir, and Luthraghon — were not born through natural means, but instead created from light, moonlight, and earth. Their very existence is a reflection of balance: nature and magic, light and darkness, form and void.

🏹 Who Are the Luthraghon?

The Luthraghon are the male elves of Sylvia — a caste separated long ago to protect Kamasylvia in a way unlike their sisters, the Ganelle.

They reside within Adùir (also called Archerlin), a hidden dimension nestled within the roots of the Kamasylve Tree. There, they stand as guardians of sacred power, defending the tree’s heart from the dark corruption of Hadum.

Among them is the Archer — not just a warrior, but a myth come to life. A lone sentinel who steps into the outer world only when Kamasylvia is in dire need.

🌸 The Ganelle — Daughters of Sunlight

Meanwhile, the Ganelle — Sylvia’s daughters — live on the surface of Kamasylvia, in the luminous forests and sacred lands surrounding the capital, Grána.

They are warriors of the forest, protectors of light and tradition. While they patrol and maintain order above, their forgotten brothers stand vigil far beneath.

🌓 Separation by Divine Will

The division between Ganelle and Luthraghon was not a cultural drift — it was intentional. Sylvia herself forbade their union, decreeing that the balance of the world depended on their separation.

The Ganelle walk beneath the sun. The Luthraghon guard the roots in shadow. Together, yet apart — by sacred law.

It’s said that their meeting could upset the natural order. And yet... with the arrival of the Archer in the surface world, the boundaries begin to blur. What happens when balance is tested?

In the lore of Black Desert, the children of the goddess Sylvia — Ganelle, Vedir, and Luthraghon — were created through magical means, born from light, moonlight, and earth.

Ganelle and Luthraghon are a split race, separated by Sylvia’s will to protect different aspects of the world.

The Archer is an elf of the Luthraghon caste, a descendant of the goddess Sylvia.

He is not an ordinary elf, but a guardian of Archerlin (also known as Adùir), an inner dimension of Kamasylvia that protects the roots of the Kamasylve Tree from the intrusion of Hadum’s darkness.

This makes his existence nearly mythical — he does not live in the surface world of Kamasylvia and only enters the outside world in rare and exceptional circumstances.

The Ganelle, the female elves, live in Kamasylvia’s surface realm — among the forests and nature — in places such as Grána, the radiant capital of their homeland.

The Luthraghon, the male elves, reside within Adùir — a hidden dimension nestled deep within the roots of the Kamasylve Tree.

They were separated by the will of Sylvia in order to maintain balance.

One in-game dialogue even states that “the meeting of Sylvia’s daughters and sons would bring ruin to the balance.”
